My Loncin 212cc blew a head gasket after a few hours of running on my wood chipper (like hc10). I wonder why that happens and if it happen often with these engines?

Pull out the yellow wire that is getting out from engine block, because the oil sensor is defective and it cuts the spark

I'm wondering if there is a reverse switch on the machine? We recently start using it, but somehow a peace of wood got stuck inside and we can't get it out. Any tips or tricks you could share? Thanks inadvance.

Thanks for the video. But at what point do you need to change the clutch? Mine is still working fine but the engine takes longer to get up to speed after a big branch. Is this an engine problem or could this be a slipping clutch. I know it’s hard to tell with only this little info but maybe you have had similar issues with it. I’ve got the HC10 pro.

I had to replace the clutch because it exploded… case of misuse leading to overheating I’m afraid 😢

I have a 163cc loncin engine. It would only run on half choke. I've had it serviced, changed the spark plug again as it was black!!!! Then changed the carb this morning and it's still the same 😢 any idea what else it could be? I could just go buy a new engine really but am starting to try and learn a bit about the maintenance side of things .

I have the same wood chipper and i am so disappointed. Lumag installed a 20mm clutch on the 19.05mm engineshaft. This lead to worn down and damaged engineshaft and clutch. The attempt to repair was just somes grinding and a new key. So the problem is still there.

I have a loncin 452cc engine land it is inside a case so I don’t have good visual of the entire engine. Do you know where the fuel pet coco is on this model so I don’t have to take too much apart.

It’s a Chonda, a clone of a Honda GX160. It takes the same spark plug, oil, and air filter as a Honda.

I have a loncin 196cc engine on my speeco auger. It won't start unless I take the air filter off and spray starting fluid in the intake. Then it won't stay running...Any suggestions?

I would suggest replacing the fuel clean out the carb and replacing the airfilter

I have this engine on a cobra chipper how can you tell if you have put the correct amount of oil in it as I haven't got a level surface to stand it on to fill it and the chipper doesn't stand level.

You can either have the engine completely drained of oil and measure 600ml back in or have it on a flat surface and fill to the maximum.

I live in a tropical climate. Hence I use SAE30. I found using multigrade that the engine used oil. With SAE30 it is fine.

It is also important to observe the API classification of the oil. So, it must be API SF or higher.

They are made in China like most small engines, even some Honda models in our opinion they are a comparable quality

Bought one of these 14 months ago, every time I cut around 30 blocks it would brake, the wheel would seize, John Hogan Lumag Ire Ltd took it back twice to fix it only the same to happen again, it has now broke again after the so called warranty expired and he will not take it back, not a friendly business at all, trouble from day one, I should have left it back immediately, stay clear folks
