I just completed this map, what a fun journey the whole game was. This was an amazingly creative and clever wad (hats off to Big Ol Billy!) I think I needed your assistance with... hmm... pretty much every map! 😆 I love these types of end maps, which pay homage to everyone involved but still have a bit of a puzzle for the player. Really nice work on this entire playlist @Mancubian Candidate! Nice to see you get credit for testing the game in the wad's text tile. Also...as always, thanks for taking the time to time-stamp all the secrets! Much appreciated.

'Thrashing in the Web' is savage. I remember attacking the imp and manc staircase as soon as I could for backup space. It also allows you to do a full loop while the cyber is up. I almost botched the second cyber fight before somehow making it out alive. GG and congrats on finishing the wad!

I love Hell levels with these gothic overtones and OTEX style textures. Or is it actually OTEX? Either way, good job!

That was a lot of fun to watch. I love to watch infighting when it happens. It's one of those things you never get sick of. And it's a good strategy if you just have a little patience and let it play out.

The RL also fires faster with Minicharge so it kind of balances out. Highly dependent on how the mapper constructs the set pieces though.

@dreadwanderer Ive been wishing for a mod that doubles rocket damage but halves fire rate and ammo. So itll kill cacos in one shot and might kill HKs in one shot. I might have to make it myself. (projectile damage 50 or 60, blast damage 240 like duke3d, each shot uses 2 rockets but if you only have 1 left it only costs 1). Sort of an anti-tank missile blast profile.

9:16 - Honestly, that was a little too close for comfort, when it comes to almost running into the one rocket being fired last. Wouldn't you or anyone else agree?

Excellent follow-up. I think the faster weapon switching in Minicharge is really underrated, it's super useful for the trickier slaughter set pieces.

30 years playing Doom, and I have never encountered a ghost monster in ordinary gameplay.

Try the most basic of all level : Doom2 map 15 (Suburbs) in UV (in order to have a sufficient number of imps), and the first arch-vile you encounter can summon these ghost quite easily from the imps you might kill in the hangar near the beginning :)

@MancubianCandidate and determination. That fight had my heart racing when I did it. I think it took 4 attempts to single segment. The rest of the level is uniquely awkward but not in a bad way. I just love lunchlunch's work. He definitely is as creative as he is mean.

It's called "minicharge", an offset of Supercharge. It comes bundled with the WAD
