I have a lavender bush, that at the moment is getting the morning sun. I live in Queensland, so will see if I will get the afternoon sun, when Summer arrives. The plant is doing well, has already flowered.

Pig face has one flaw, cattle love to eat it. We had some on a slope as ground cover and it looked stunning. One day I let a couple of cows in that small paddock as the grass was ankle deep and the cows were looking a bit skinny. They ignored the grass and stripped the slope bare of pigface!

The pigface would have been so juicy to eat for the cows 😊
Great video! We're looking for natives for our new garden in WA's Southwest. I love your favourite shrub. The colours are divine! All the shrubs are stunners. I will consider them. Thank you!

Avoid fertilising during flowering? isn't that the time you add potassium and sulphur to enhance flowering and fruit growth?

Regarding the cootamundra wattle it can become a pest as it can out compete endemic species in the area. In an urban yard it should be fine but if you are planting on a property or next to the bush please consider this before establishing in your yard.

Hi, Ultimate backyard, I absolutely love gardening. I wish I had more time to attend to my garden. I have some rosebushes and they all have a scent. I love roses, I also have a vegetable garden elevated bed. I grow spinach, pumpkins, beans, radishes, tomatoes and herbs. I have a really good oregano plant that gives me 3 jars of oregano once I dry it. It's the best. Store bought doesn't compare. My fern collection love the shade and enjoy filtered light. I also have a vast collection of succulents which I love. Now I know why my lettuce gets shriveled up. Too much sunlight. Thank you.🌿🌹

I love lavender but I can't bring any cut flowers inside because I have cats. Apparently lavender is toxic to cats. I have French lavender and always cut it right down after its finished flowering.🪻

I love succulents they are the best plants. Easy to care for, very low maintenance. Easy to grow more plants from cuttings.❤

I found some old coloured pots and decided to make macrame with some jute. I hung up about 5 pots with some spider plants from some cuttings. Thank you for the information about which plants are ideal. I love ferns and succulents. Whenever I go for a walk I always find different succulents on the pathways. I have a green thumb and grow many cuttings successfully. I have many varieties of succulents.🌱🌱🌿🌿
