This video was truly great. I don't even use Ableton that much. I used to have a Push 2 and ended up selling it due to not using it. I use Ableton more now than I used to and have been leaning towards getting another Push and actually learning it. What I didn't expect when I came into this video was the amazing almost existential ideas you laid out and the awesome focus on mindset and the true purpose of a musician or composer/producer. Thank you for doing this. Subbed

Thank you for communicating and articulating so well. And the way you regularly went back to remind us and summarize what we just learned was excellent. Many of the other ableton tutorials for beginners are incomprehensible. Your method of teaching is excellent. Thank you for keeping Ableton and Push and making music digitally , in my future. Great job.

I will likely be getting a Push I do have some hard synths. Using PC Have a small keystep. So I've looked into an Oxygen, Launchkey, and some Arturia stuff, but don't know if I will need all those options if I have a Push. I like the keystep pro for controlling hard synths and it's got 4 tracks, however maybe that just needs to be a separate setup. Should I just get a nicer 49 or so midi keyboard without all the pads and such? Considering I will have a Push? Is it redundant to have a full featured midi keyboard along side the Push Should I get a fully featured midi keyboard and hold off on the Push? Certainly want something that works good in Ableton because I'm still learning it. I'm worried about these keyboards, some say pitch wheels not accurate, some say faders are horrible and so on.... Some have endless knobs, some don't, is that a major flaw? With a regular midi keyboard and a Push, what do you do about faders? So yeah I gotta upgrade from lite to suite, but need to know where to put my money Suite first, or Suite with Push package, or wait for possible Push 3, or fully functional keyboard now and Suite? Maybe a cool hard synth keyboard that also has midi, or with that take me away from nice integration with Ableton? If i do get full function midi keyboard i can pry go up to 500 bucks, but if the ones like oxygen are good, then fine, I just don't want crummy stuff, but I'm also not a baller. Any help thanks....

Im curiuos about how you structure de storytelling and steps to tell how to engage with Push. Is wonderful because Im also teacher of electronics, art, programming, IoT, 3D modeling and other non related things and the general structure of your video helped me a lot to re focus how I share knowledge. My students dont know but they are very greatful with you. Im also searching around those ideas, but a few keywords would help <3

.amazing teaching method. So articulate, efficient and effective. Thank you. I have been working on learning Push 2 and Ableton 11 together for the past 6 months. It has been extremely challenging and frustrating. I have been unable to determine if the reason I have been so incapable to comprehend the tutorials is caused by my brain injury, or ,,,,, if Ableton is attempting to dissuade its clients who have purchased the push 2 from continuing, or ,,,, if the people I have been attempting to learn from online, are simply unable to teach effectively. After Hearing you speak about the online KZbin videos that are out there , including those put out on Abletons own page, I am happy to know that I am not the only individual left feeling confused and bewildered and overwhelmed. You have demonstrated and taught the Push 2 so effectively. Thank you. I have learned that the Push 2 has far more capabilities that may be far easier to access thanks to you. Im Grateful for your contributions and your authenticity. Peace.Gratitude

Hello, I am attempting to use Ableton live 9 like a sound effect generator. I want to hit buttons on my elgato streamdeck xl using Midi and trigger the playback of sound effects audio files i have in ableton while in session view. Do you have a video I can watch that can explain how i can do that and how to map the buttons from the streamdeck xl using midi?
