Do you still have the 3d printed bully 2 front axle cases? Are they for sale online? Edit: I think I found them!

Thanks Steve! Course 1 and 2 were the last ones of the day for me, and the ones I enjoid the most to be honest. And looking back at the videos I can tell I was driving relaxed and with a lot of confidence at the end of the day.😅

Can a futaba 4pls be setup to have proportional rear steering like that rig has? I can make it do rear only or crab and regular four wheel steer but not sure how to get like i saw here I'm guessing it's on a different channel like a wheel instead of a switch.

I want a cover off look at one of these, so curious about link geometry, assume most everything is dlux, davtech etc….did you scuff your rear tires to look like that on purpose. One day I’m coming to these.
@progressive_rc8 ай бұрын
Glad you like it!! No Dlux or Dravetech on this car to be honest... I design all of my chassis and this was the first shafty I ever designed. You can see a description of it (and all my other cars) on a past video: kzbin.info/www/bejne/fZ2waoOulqupps0 I also made a similar video last Summer, before the worlds and I have a few more on the channel where I talk in detail about my cars....

Forgot to tell about the rear tires. They are my old tires from the front of my Pro car, they were well used when I put them on this car. I tried to change to newer tires and didn't like how the car worked, so I changed back to these ones.
@YourBoyBlue28 ай бұрын
Would be great, if you're willing, to list your build in the description. Just recently bought a Dlux Lunatic kit. It is by far my favorite rig. Love this rig so much that I'm already thinking about my next sporty build.

Yes, I understand... That's why I was a bit undecided if I would post it or not. Some courses make it harder then other to film. I have the camera on the remote, my priority is driving, not making a cool video... This course was very steep, só often I was with the car at a different level then my hands/remote...

Try Dlux. There you will be able to find wheels and tires as well. There are a few other companies that can make it, including myself.

I can't wait to get mine. Pins for the front I see. I'm used to seeing the lugs on front and pins in rear. How do you like the combination?
@progressive_rc8 ай бұрын
I like pin tires more then lugs. But I only have a pair of Super pin tires, so I put them in the front because they have more grip and, in my case, better foams. I need to build a set of pin tires for the rear as well...

What do dudes run for minis…scx24 based? UTB18… Some great driving. Fun to watch want to be traveling and hitting some of these.
@124crawlervideos8 ай бұрын
Those minis are a lot of handmade pieces come together in a frankenstein crawler, not based on anything you can buy. Years of knowledge and building skills.
@progressive_rc8 ай бұрын
This class was using a lot of ols Losi mini rock crawlers back in the day (they called it 1/16 scale I think). My car (on the video), still has a losi gearbox and a losi based front axle. Now those parts are hard to come by... Also, the rules changed a bit so we can now have cars that use AR44 axles. Modified or even stock width AR44. At the moment I am designing a new mini car, specially because the Losi parts are not available anymore... The Axial UTB18 can be used as a base. there are companies that sell chassis and upgrade parts for the UTB18, and it helped a lot for this class to grow in the last couple of years.

I saw a few guys DNF'ing on the same place as I did and they had full working rigs so I suppose I cant's complain much... I think that with a full working rig I could reach the end easily, but that's how it goes sometimes.

@@progressive_rc tough to keep your head when the cars taking a crap.
@dustinbailey19809 ай бұрын
so what was the servo issue?? that boundry was unfortunate you had that bonus easy
@progressive_rc8 ай бұрын
Looks like the servo was binding with the tierod, and that was forcing the servo. I replaced the servo after this course. On the bench the servo now is working, but I need to test it on a rig to see if the damage was permanent or not... Yeah, boundaries just with chalk on the floor sux! Over here, on big comps, we use pieces of plastic with sponsor logos on them, like this they are easier to see and it's more exposure for the sponsors. It is what it is... :(
