In my mind, you have the thread through the wrong tension. It needs to come through the middle hole. It is far too loose going through the biggest hole.

Very nice colors on your temp blanket and the solid granny squares. 🧶🧶💜💙🧶🧶

This yarn works fine in the Sentro. It’s user error on your part. You need to roll your project into a donut when it reaches the table,to add a bit of weight and tension around the barrel because it’s pushing your stitches up off the needles. Also just letting the yarn come out of the ball without any tension, has added to the problems. The yarn is not the issue

Hi Millie. Love your cardigan. Cabled cardigans or cabled anything are a joy for me to knit. The socks are really cool. The striping makes it a happy sock. peace&love

Wowwwwe that's a beautiful cardigan ❤. The socks are bright and cheerful. As a crocheter, i find socks tricky to make. The granny square blanket you are working on with full granny squares will be absolutely beautiful ❤the colours you are using are delightful. You have mastered the "granny square ". I look forward to seeing more of your lovely work. Keep up the great work 👍. Happy crafting ❤😊, my friend 🧡

Use 4 claw weights for the first 4" or so of the tube cranking, then switch to a 9" (across) glass cooking pot lid after you get enough of a tube on the machine. (at about 4" of a tube... pull the tube downward or upward to narrow the tube opening while it is on the machine then gently lay the 9" glass pot lid in the center of the machine. The claw weights typically are not needed once you can switch to the pot lid. Just make sure the pot lid is never below the bottom of the round frame of the knitter. You will notice when the pot lid gets too low in the round frame and when it does remove pot lid and donut roll your tube and reset the pot lid on top of the rolled tube. A 9" glass pot lid works best for the 48 needle knitter. (glass will weigh more than a metal lid and you can see through the glass lid. My 9" glass lid weighs slightly over 1lb.) Glass pot lids can be bought cheap at a thrift store. Just take a tape measure with you and go for a 9" across one. (8.5" to 9.5" across will work but the 9" is size is perfect for the 48 needle.)

Thank you for the lovely update on your beautiful projects. Temperature blankets sure take time, and a lot of commitment, so good for you to stick with it. As a result, you have a wonderful, cozy blanket ❤️ You are a master at sock making, and i love ❤️ the lovely colours of your socks. Then there is your beautiful granny square cardigan. I remember when you were happily showing us the squares. Wow, that is a lot of work, but the results are most excellent. The cardigan is beautiful. I look forward to seeing all of your wonderful project updates. Keep up the great work 👍 Happy stitching 🧶❤️♥️

Hi. For yarns that split easy, you've got to use hand tension letting it slide through the fingers instead of using the guide. I use a yarn similar to that and the first try was ridiculous. It took 6 days to do 31 rows then another 5 hours just for row 32.. In the end I took it off the machine and started again. It worked perfectly with or without the guide, but without using the tension bar and just hand tension. You also have to keep the speed down, but not slow. Also keep pushing the yarn Under the separators so it doesn't pop off. I actually removed the tension bar off each of my machines, they're useless

Wow, I love your projects. The baby blanket is lovely, and the border is excellent ❤The green granny square blanket you made for your friend is beautiful. The granny square blanket you are making for yourself is charming and delightful. Red is my favorite colour. It is always a great delight to see your beautiful temperature blanket. You have been the inspiration for me to try making a temperature blanket. I am very far behind because i wanted to make it for my husband, showing the temperatures of the first year we were here in Wawa, Ontario (Canada). We moved here in May of 2023, and I am now working on September of 2023. But i am keeping record of the temperatures. I am also making this blanket with small granny squares. Don't get discouraged you are doing great with your crocheting ❤I look forward to seeing more of your excellent work ❤
