Rolf, I contacted you a few years ago about using this to locate flake graphite in tropical soils. Many people think this is a metal detector and then discover it is not, and they conclude is that it is a fake. You need to focus on how it works rather than on how to use it. It is not specific to gold alone and has to make physical contact with the metallic particles of native metals like gold, silver, copper, but the other metals can be iron or aluminium from human activity. I had to argue on your behalf to have it removed from an industry list of "voodoo prospecting methods" by explaining that it was a micro-ohmmeter. I demonstrated my older model to the members of a geological society who were learning how to pan in a local river. It was quite clear that the Goldspear located the best place to pan, but even more important, if the Goldspear had no response, then panning at that location was a waste of time.

There are three discriminators, the first one for all metals which are conductive (native metals, gold, silver, but also aluminium foil and iron filings scrap etc) and that would extend down to graphite and pyrrhotite; The second one is for sulphides (pyrite, chalcopyrite) which are 100-1000 times less conductive than metals; The third one is for magnetite which is less conductive than sulphides but is dense and is usually found in panning as black sand. As with metal detectors, it is best to avoid areas where people have discarded rubbish, campsites, picnic areas etc.

@@vodoroda9449 If you are away from human activity, the most likely metal is gold. Bullets, nails, coins, and BBQ charcoal are far less likely to be present. Good luck!

Grymt! Tack för videon, jag funderar på att köpa en detektor för att eventuellt finna gamla elkablar i marken innan vi börjar gräva i tomten. Är det någon som har erfarnhet av detta & går det ens göra? Är osäker men såklart skitbra att dektektera efter gammal spik mm så man minskar risken för punkteringar mm.

This reminds me of the Australian Gold fields....could you do a video explaining the geology of the area? I find it interesting how chunky the gold is.

Hi Kenneth I am not the right person to explain geology’s of Sudan. But I can tell you that the gold is the same like WA, big and chunky. We also initiated a rush on Dryblowers 👍 The area Is rich in gold and other minerals but a bit difficult to maneuver and supply spares. Great potential.

Hi what do they use as the weight on the pulley? is it a chain with a weight attached to the end to move the table?

Hi Max On this table it’s an electric small engine that has a weight on the axel. The weight is about 10 cm from the axel. The table is moving freely and you can adjust the stroke. Now I am not the engineer behind this but that how I remember it:) Works good on very small size gold but today if I like to recover small size I will use a centrifuge 👍

@@GuldstromSweden Hi there, thanks for the reply. Can you remember was the weight attached to the axel by a chain or something similar to give it the off balance throw to rock the table? Am starting to make a wave table myself and been trying to find info on the drive mechanism as every video has the cover over that area haha. cheers for the help. Also check out my vid of the shaker table i made if you have time seems to work not to bad. Thinking a wave table might be better cheers mate

I would like to know a little more about how the pumps are powered. Battery type or are they DC.

Normal 12 volt battery. 8,5 AMP per hour so calculate how many amps and if you are smart you buy Litium-Ion battery. And take care of the battery then it will last a long time.

to me it seems like you could lenghten your machines to give yourself a more comfortable swing. your leaning forward. straight back, straight arm, most comfort and largest swing , pluss a friendly advice ,make your life easier and get a pinpointer

There must be more items at a greater depth. Deep plough the area or strip off with a digger. This would also show structures and any other Archaeology.
