See your first and only mistake here is you weren't playing stagger feet knight. If you were playing stagger feet knight you would be having fun and winning.

Ye i remember that clip, I wanted to limit test the new Engineer changes and he could absolutely 100% solo a chaos patrol on Cata but you either need the trollhammer setup, be maxed out on bombs with the dual bomb effects talent or you need someone to help kite it out if you're going to use gromril plated shot. Unfortunately I didn't have any of those there but I still wanted to fight it because yolo lol ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Yes the lift has a crit modifier that can utilize the Heat Sink trait to completely erase the cost of the lift. It can be pretty useful in tight situations.

Oh 100%. The difference between mace/shield and sword/shield is that sword has overall higher attack speed and that includes shield bashes. Mace/shield is a bit slower but has greater temp hp build when using normal attacks in hordes and has better super armor damage with your push attack into light 3. It's more a matter of preference than anything. Regarding your range, blunderbuss imo is highly underrated and synergizes really well with Foot Knight imo but Handgun is easily the most meta range for him so just go with whatever you prefer, handgun is also super good for instakilling those pesky shield vermin if they start to stack.

You just immediately cancel your dash by tapping block right after activating it. It's very good for a lot of situations ranging from creating some breathing room during intense engagements, forcing every enemy in front of you into a stagger 2 state for increased damage (hence why mainstay is such a good stagger talent for Foot Knight) and knocking enemies off of ledges. Foot Knight's ability is extremely versatile and has a ton of uses when it's utilized well.

A-and as a proper elf main you learn one thing - it's funny to keep him alive and in good HP to the end. "You not allowed to die on me, dwarf. this type of build is really nice with the mace and shield too, ive found the push attack and light attack combo with the mace and shield to be really good at dealing with isolated chaos warriors and elites in general

Another great one. I definitely feel Foot Knight has fallen behind with tanks like Ironbreaker and Warrior Priest being so much more powerful, having both the ability to tank and put out high damage. They're OP but still, Foot Knight needs a little something besides being the Stagger King. I only played Foot Knight when I was new to Cataclysm a few years ago because I could contribute by staggering enemies, and just survive. Now, he feels a bit stale to play, besides a few unique builds. The few cata solos I've completed were usually with higher damage output careers that could also stagger like Warrior Priest, Engineer, Mercenary, Ranger Vet, Ironbreaker, Huntsman, and Slayer. Besides that it's the broken stuff like Duckfoot Bounty Hunter.

Just a few games I managed to complete while recording footage for the Foot Knight experience vid. I've got a couple more runs to upload and then I'm going to be turning my focus to making either an 'experience' type vid for The Captain Series event I'm partaking in or I'll be deviating a bit and making a video around an Ultra-nightmare run for DOOM 2016 that I'm close to completing. I don't mean for the channel to focus on Vermintide content exclusively and I want to expand my video editing and Blender animation knowledge to be able to apply them to a wide variety of titles. After these solo run uploads, expect a gap until the next major upload while I continue to educate myself in order to improve the quality of my vids. Stay tuned :)

How do you pick the maps you wanna run on?

I try to predict how each series of runs will go by matching my setup to the map as much as possible. For example, if I'm running a low mobility/close range setup then I probably don't want to play Against the Grain because of the wide open areas on that map that require more movement and range. I would instead choose this map because of its more condensed areas that enable me to utilize the strengths of the build more effectively. I hope that's a good enough explanation lol :)

Hello. What is the point of +power from stagger elires, does it give any breakpoints?

It's mainly used in this setup as a damage boost. You could realistically run attack speed on push if that's more to your liking. I just used +power on stagger vs elites here because it's super easy to trigger with 2h hammer, it provides greater damage per heavy swing on mixed hordes and because i felt I didn't need the extra attack speed from crowd clearer because I would have bull of ostland and swift slaying up most of the time anyway. It also helps with taking out packmasters with a single Blunderbuss shot due to the power bonus applying to ranged as well, increasing that specific breakpoint while it's active. It's non-essential, but i prefer it over crowd clearer here.

So for Grat Hammer I have to be patient and if I pair it with the blunderbuss I have Stagger Knight that is very durable. You came through for us hammer newbies and I thank you for it. PS: that hook at 18:20 had a grudge on that poor door

No problem :) Keep in mind that there's lots of ways to play the game and there are not really any definitive setups that are necessary in the base game until you start playing extreme modded difficulties like cata3+ dwons. That being said this is just my setup for this particular run and there's lots of room for customization on your end to use whatever you're comfortable with. Keep practicing and happy bonking!
