It changes everything the "Relocation To Panama Tour" is claiming about the health care and related subjects of the country. Autism is relatively mild disorder and Panamanian system can't offer even a simple help? BTW... how much Relocation Tours charges for it's lies? Thousands! If this golden "health care" can't meet such a simple case... what else they are lying about?

Well I can tell you for certain jaime would not have received assistance in Panama... mainly due to the language barriers I would think but also no matter who I asked, it was like going round in circles, trying to get assistance for her and the doors were always shut. We cannot expect them to have help available especially in English so the only thing we could do was come back to our own country where we could get assistance. We were nearer David and if there was any help we would have had to travel to Panama City (7 hours away) and for weekly treatments that would not have been possible and also it all would have been in Spanish. I can tell you though my daughter in Panama was a girl hanging onto the inside fence of the school crying and upset and vomiting during school and all the time, a very unhappy girl to a girl that has blossomed and changed so much in the short time she has been back here and able to get help. We had to hire a full time facilitor to be with our daughter during the school day as well. We couldn't even arrange some sort of calming tablet for her to fly back to South Africa in Panama. Not even that was possible. The flight was difficult for her and for us and for a lot of other passengers I can imagine but we had no other choices. I don't know why there wasn't help available in Panama. They say South Africa is third world but these things are available here - all over the show. We're very happy to be back home.

We arrived in Panama when our daughter was 2... she was very busy and she didn't settle at the school and no-one could help her. We paid for a full time facilitator during school hours as well and we realised something was wrong. Turns out she's autistic and we couldn't get the help she needed in Panama. So we had to leave to come back here to get professionals to help her and there is a huge improvement. Should we have stayed in Panama she would have had huge difficulties to overcome and no assistance... Needs to much help with speech therapy, OT therapy, meds and monthly visits with her doctors and also educational psychologist etc. It hasn't been easy but we know we did the right thing because she's the whole reason we moved to Panama and she's the reason we moved back to South Africa. We'll miss the house, yes. But no choice.

Our daughter is autistic. Couldn't get the help we needed in Panama for her. Here in South Africa there is plenty assistance available but even with that its a difficult road but just to see her finally happy again helps a lot. We couldn't even get a diagnosis for her in Panama and it was very difficult to get help. If we didn't come back here for her - she'd be a lost soul.

All is good except we left Panama as our daughter is autistic and we couldn't get any help in Panama and they couldn't even diagnose her. @@WeMovedToPanama I just checked walking to the river, snake in the grass video… yes I can see how your daughter shakes her hands… Autism is a problem that has to do with socializing but they can do great with good teaching / education… I can’t tell you more bc I’m starting this course until tomorrow lol . My question for you is because I’m curious, by that time you record that video you knew she was autistic, or you had clues but not assured yet?

One of the many problems no one addresses is the Panamanian currency. Although Panama has its own currency (the Balboa), however, Panama also uses the U.S. dollar. The Balboa to U.S. dollar exchange rate is 1-to-1, which doesn't make since when it comes to GDP. The Gross Domestic Product (GDP) in Panama was worth 52.94 billion US dollars in 2020. Compare that to the U.S. GDP in 2020 at $20.93 trillion. So how did the 1-to-1 exchange rate balance off? Someone with subject matter expertise in economy explain this...I am not convinced that Panama is the best or most beneficial place to retire.
