Excellent instructions. I use large scissors to cut the ends of my tassels as it gives a good even cut in one go. 🌹🌻

Thank you so much for this very interesting video, I think I will put together some similar set for my daughter, to teach her how to cross stitch. Even though I stitch in the opposite direction, my first half stitches are worked first half going from down left to up right and I finish them from down right to up left.

9:46 I see a covered button being covered...wowza! What size & type is this needle? Will this type of weaving work on any size of knit fabric? Can this weaving style cover a hole in cotton & knit fabric? This is fascinating to me & mesmerizing to watch, Many thanks. I re-watched, with cc used (In English) & took screenshots. Doing the lesson this way I noted the cc words aren't always the same as what's being shown. Things like: Use xxx type of needle...in the review of tools needed. Use the eye end of the double threaded needle, to gently weave the threads in the shown/stated directions. Once @ the end of the row, before the needle is removed, use the threaded needle to gently, push the threads just woven down, for an even & snug fit. Etc. I saw there was no Transcript in the Description Box, so had to be innovative and figure out this way. I will use this wonderful set of visual, audio & reading the screenshots with the cc worded instructions to aid me (& my A.D.D. brain) complete a sample project. Many, many thanks, DMC!!!

It's exactly the same. You just position the hole in the sock under where the weaving is done.

Excellent camera work by showing us very clearly the knot work the demonstrator is doing. In the USA, I was using thin closeline "rope" for my "Thread", in the 70's, while my newborn daughter played nearby. We, in the Mid West, also pronounced Macramé, as "MA-crow-may." Well done, DMC STAFF!
