Hi and thanks for sharing! Have you flown it yet? I'm also planning to install a SpeedyBee f405 wing on the same airplane, but I don't have any experience with inav. I'm still learning. Did you manage to adjust the flaps in iNav?

Fowler Flaps extend rearward to increase the chord. Then hinge downward to increase the difference in camber. As mentioned previously, your illustration is a Slotted Flap.
@grasuh4 ай бұрын
It works like a Fowler. The pivot is offset BELOW the chord line and increases the chord length when lowered, albeit cannot slide straight backward. A simple slotted won't have an offset.

What was the max range at 3k mw? did you finish the test? you never posted the results.
@fpv-tech Жыл бұрын
i did a test and went just over 10km and had to return due to my batteries did not allow further and since than it is sitting on the shelf coz my esc went bad too. but i have done 16km out with my dart xl with old emmersion rc vtx 600mw. higher watt vtx drains more amps from battery that should be in consideration. (high altitude)

@FPVTECH thanks a lot! Do not forget to upload to Thingiverse your nice landing gears😀 I've tried to use LW-ASA instead of LW-PLA to prevent melting at direct sun or in any other hot place. With extruder multiplier 0,65-0,7 LW-ASA works good and parts weight is close to LW-PLA because ASA is lighter than PLA. If to use 0,5 like for LW-PLA prints become too fragile. Will try to build this plane using ABS/LW- ASA.
