There are invisible vents covers you can remove anytime the insert and clean it

Does every single vent need to be assessable for cleaning or can you get away with one being closed?

You wont be able to clean the vent

As an air duct cleaner. I have tools that can still clean inside there. It is all about the right knowledge and tools nowadays. You do what you want and be who you want to be, and i will find a way to clean it.

Maybe I’m wrong, but that is not a heating duct that is a return that sucks all of the cold air back down to the furnace and warms it back up so you wouldn’t need to clean it

How much air are you losing due to the fact the duct didn’t curve or corner into the vent? Also is the pillar hollow going up? Is there nothing stopping the air from flowing continuously up? If so the vent and any work done to it is pointless unless you have something to curve the air to the vent.

Dont spray that stuff right on the caulk,spray it on your finger.Soap works fine but mineral spirits works the best on Silicone.

Hey, did you consider that you'll never be able to clean your ducts now with this commitment? Just a thought.

My question is, why can't people be critical on the multiple reasons these kinds of vents can lead to issues down the line? Don't get me wrong, the work looks great, and I appreciate the self-awareness, but dang, this comment section is as one-sided as a modern-day politician.
