Playing with a partner who allows you to make mistakes without harassment and encourages you even when you try the more difficult shots does wonders for your mental attitude and emotional well being on the court. Somewhere I've heard "play like you don't care" which means your not thinking what someone else is thinking of your shot but you just give 100 percent of your attitude in doing and giving your best. I've often said also the more you "try" the worse you do.
