I use to be an Undercover wear lingere representative to supplement my finances. It was much the same as Tupperware representative. COMMISION Sales rep. My friend Sabra was a woman of the world rep. Woman of the world had lingere and toys and other adult items, where undercover wear was strictly lingere.

Probably at the time, the echo Park neighborhood of Los Angeles was low income. Today, try buying anything in that area for less than a million dollars. Pioneer Chicken has pretty much gone out of business. I love the imagery of the song and I love Linda Ronstadt.

Best years of my life - 1977, 1978 I was 19, a trainee teacher doing the annual "practice teaching" internship at a high school in a nearby town, and every day I'd drive to the school in a little 1962 car that never ran right - and this was one of the songs that would jangle out of its $15 car radio that was screwed in place under the dash. I was scared of the career I was training for because I was shy; but those long drives in my very own bomb car were a special and exciting experience of being young, with more independence than I'd ever had, and everything to look forward to, and a seemingly endless future. And the wonderful music of the time was an exciting part of that. The songs hinted at what life had in store - girlfriends, sexy relationships, and parties and dancing. Everything was ahead of me and I was ready to take my first tentative steps into what life had to offer.

The lyrics are dirty, but, putting aside the lyrics, this is a great song from the heart of the summer of 1977. I was 13.
