Really?! This is the first time I hear that. To me it's nothing even close to Creed Aventus, but I'll take your word for it just for now. 6 hours is a good longevity. I don't agree with you; I think "crap" is a strong word to describe this lovely scent, but I totally respect your opinion and I thank you for sharing. Honestly!

Hi there! I wouldn't be able to help with that list, but I can tell you that Brut Original (which is one of my favourite deodorants) you'll find on Boots for about £2,50! And that's a 200ML can. It's a great scent and a massive bargain! Otherwise, you can find all the ones I reviewed in this video online. All the very best and I hope 2025 be your year!

Hi there! I totally agree with you 100% and that's why I normally say and have said on many of my videos that likes and dislikes vary from person to person. Gucci Guilty Black does not agree with my nose, but I understand that others may like it. I always put every fragrance I review to the test and then I share my personal totally unbiased opinion. Loved her, but I certainly never enjoyed the smell of her perfume! It always made me twist my nose in despair when she gave me a long hug! Bless her! But I always loved her food though!! 🙂

I tried both in a fragrance shop, the colognes are elegant, very summery, and super long-lasting, but I went for Acqua Di Colonia Concentrate, it smells more mature and sophisticated to my nose ..........

All the explanations I've come across so far aren't specific or direct. By the way, I found quite funny how you used to think of sea notes as fishy! Gee whiz! that's a long list! But thanks for that. It's always good to know as a general knowledge; although I must confess that, as a fragrance enthusiast, I don't really pay much attention to whether a scent I like is or isn't a clone/dupe as I, personally, pay more attention to the smell and performance of a fragrance regardless of the brand or make. In a nutshell, if it's not a counterfeit or stolen product, and if I like its smell, so I am all for it! Nevertheless, I'm very grateful for the information you provided. I have every man fragrance (100 ml’s) of Chanel, except the 2 Pour Monsieur (edt and edp), will have them soon. Antaeus is a boss fragrance. Onky fir winter night. The fragrance changes after half hour and then becomes even much better. Well its not for everyone, not everyone is a Boss😉

Hi there! I really appreciate your comment. I also love the scent of The Dreamer by Versace. Regarding Versace's logo (the head) before and after I made the fragrance review, I researched on different websites including Versace's as well as went on to read more about Medusa and the Mythological story behind this well known, but very misunderstood creature. Every where it says that the head on the Versace logo is Medusa, a Greek mythological figure. Gianni Versace chose the Medusa head as the logo for his fashion brand in 1978 because he believed it represented a bold and powerful image. Seeing who Medusa was and what really happened to her, I am to say that it makes all sense as to why Medusa's head was chosen to be Versace's logo. However, though, I'm all open for further information and to be better educated on everything, so please give me your sources and I'll be happy to read them. But for now I stand by the information I found in my own research. I truly hope to hear from you again. Once again, I truly appreciate your comment.

Great review, yes it certainly is a freshie , i think its a decent scent for the price , i agree with your score , you should try Karl Lagerfeld Bois De Vetiver its nicer, i think you would like it better . I recently tried a tester of the new blue bottle Aqua di Gio Profundo on my skin and i have to say its amazing , i will definitely buy , its expensive compared to most if the budget scents i buy but instead of buying 4 budget scents i can buy the new Profundo . And i need to buy Hugo Boss Man its another scent that i love . Look forward to your next review Mr D 👍😂

Hi there! I wasn't quite sure what to expect from Bois de Yuzu, so it was a blast of of uniqueness when I first smelled it! Certainly, it shows off its citric, fresh personality! Now I have to try Bois de Vetiver - I had a quick look at its scent notes and am now wondering what fragrance they provide. Added to my list of future colognes to buy!! 🙂 Now, regarding Aqua di Gio Profundo, You're right, it's not the usual low price of a budget scent, but I feel I'll have to buy at least a mini bottle to sniff it!! 🙂. Good Morning Felix. Yesterday I was going to buy this scent I tried the tester and put some on my hand , wrist and clothes , I liked the initial first smell it reminded me of Versace Dreamer but here comes the But , after 20 minutes the scent changed to a smelly pissy smell 😮 like pee mixed with sweet powder😂 so I decided not to buy and purchased Yardley Gentleman Urbane which was reduced in price . I'm glad I tried the tester and didn't blind buy 😂 Best wishes Mr D 👍

Good Evening Felix , Thanks for reviewing Drakar intense I can see you have used a lot of the scent over the two weeks , you are always spot on with your reviews, the longevity is not the best and I have to reapply after a few hours, but it was cheap , I have a 50ml bottle and like you say it's easy to carry around with you , I put my bottle in my holdall , I agree it's scent that you can go to when you don't know what other scents to wear , I love the bottle design and colour of the juice , for me it's a comforting sweet spicy scent which I love , it's just a pity about longevity and projection, I will definitely need to buy a bigger bottle , oh and I agree with you it definitely doesn't smell like old soap 😂 Have you tried the original Drakar Noir ? It's another classic. 😊 Mr D 👋

Drakkar Noir was only a flanker of the original Drakkar. Intense has nothing to do with Noir but is an updated version of the original Drakkar.

@@wayneholmes637 I don't think I have seen the original Drakkar for sale , I understand it's very old , as Drakkar Noir its also old 1982 , i read that the new Drakkar Noir is a lot weaker compared to the original.

@minigouda2024 I agree with you, Drakkar Intense isn't a beast fragrance, especially because its performance isn't that great as I mentioned in the video, but in my personal opinion it is a 'time saver'. Despite the average performance, its smell is a very good one, which I recommend. I'll look out the fragrance you mentioned, Al Rehab Dakar, and if I get a bottle so I can judge it for myself. You see, I had a great time holidaying in Brazil that year, and I was introduced to some amazing Brazilian fragrances, many of which, certainly, deserve a space in the world stage. I got the chance to buy a few O Boticario and Natura colognes, all of which I reviewed and posted on my channel - feel free to watch them if you like, but I'll put here a link of a review of a Natura fragrance, which I put to the test whilst making my way back home from that trip to Brazil - That day when I got back in England all the trains were on strike, so that was a good time to make that video!!🙂 I'd love to know what you think. Hey there! I gather you do like the smell of Gucci Guilty Black, and I'm glad you do. Honestly! You're not the first person to say that I should have my nose checked! I still have that same bottle, and have tried to enjoy wearing it, but still, my nose just doesn't accept it. I say my nose, but I must admit that Gucci Guilty Black is not my type of scent. Every time I sniff it, there comes that filthy smell that I mentioned in my review. But hey, who knows my sense of smell may change one day?! For now, I'll keep this fragrance away from me!! Any way, thanks for your comment; really. I appreciate you don't agree with my opinion, but that's alright. It'd be terrible if we all agreed on the same things all the time. Who knows you'll agree with me on other fragrance reviews?!

@davidGPS95 Hello David GPS, best known as Mr D 😊 - I personally just bought that one bottle. I guess, I was very disappointed with the name "Potion Power" I was expecting so much more from this fragrance that I just couldn't justify myself buying another one when it's performance, let me down that much. What I, personally, would say is, if you got some spare cash in your wallet, so go for it just for the sake of sniffing it. Otherwise, use that money to buy a fragrance you really want. Don't get me wrong, the smell of Police Potion Power isn't bed at all, it's just because I felt like they cheated me with such name! But if you go for it, let me know what you think! I hope all is well with you 👍

@@forscentssake Hi Felix , Good afternoon, I went back to the shop and I tried the tester sprayed some on my wrist and clothes , I went shopping and 1 hour later I couldn't really smell the scent , it was a nice enough scent but like you say the name is misleading there is no Power 😂 very weak , i do like the design of the bottle . I decided not to buy your review was spot on . I went into Boots store and I picked up Moschino Toy Boy 100 ml for the bargain price of £25 👍 It's a nice scent almost like a spicy incense smell and it does last long on the skin . It is very interesting how noses are different... I absolutly can't get any floral smell out of Antaeus, let alone roses! To my nose "Zino" by Davidoff is smelling very floral, too much for me...

Hi there! this is really very interesting! I personally just make my nose stop smelling roses when I sniff Antaeus por homme by Chanel! I've been trying to like it, but the strong smell of flower I get from it put me off completely. That's why I normally say that like and dislikes very from person to person, and your comment demonstrates that perfectly! Really? you floral from Zino by Davidoff? Wow, I on the other hand like Zino and as you can imagine, I don't smell much floral notes coming out of it. By the way, I do like floral notes, but it has to be in the base notes, really base!!! Nice review. For me this is a 'tribute' to Gucci Intense Oud. Smells almost identical. Lattafa don't really make originals, they're nearly always clones - Asad Zanzibar being one recent original they made by getting Fanny Bal in to create one, before that it's nearly all clones. This being one of their early ones, it's definitely gonna be a clone. Elite Gentleman by Avon is another that's very Gucci IO like. Mancera Aoud Exclusif is another, albeit the same price as the Gucci unlike the other two. The Gucci came out in 2016, this was 2018. Clone or not, it's a staggeringly good winter scent for £20 per 100ml. I own all the scents above so I've compared them, and they're all very much in the same scent space, just the Gucci has more rose, and the Mancera has the signature Mancera oudiness they tend to utilise to give their juice a punch. You could wear any and get roughly the same scent bubble though. The Avon one is likely the most surprising given it's the cheapest, and Avon aren't known for making anything half decent usually.

I honestly enjoyed reading it and getting the names of the fragrances you mentioned, many of which I didn't know, but now I'll have a look at them including the Elite Gentleman by Avon especially because I haven't ever properly experience an Avon fragrance, I mean, I never worn one to test. Also, I can see that you know your stuff. I mean, you have these fragrances and have compared them, and built your own opinion, and experiences with these scents. You're right, Lattafa don't really make originals, but they seem to be masters in reproducing good smells! Wow! this is news to me! I didn't know that Asad Zanzibar is Lattafas first original! I had a quick look online and found out that it's just about £21, and it was launched this year, 2024!! I feel like I must try it! Its notes got me now thinking: Top notes are Lavender and Black Pepper; middle notes are Coconut Water, Iris and Salt; base notes are Vanilla and Incense. Looking at these notes I feel a bit dubious regarding its smell, but it makes me even more excited to get a bottle!!! @@forscentssake no worries mate. Get Zanzibar, I'm sure it'll surprise you, it's an absolute beast performance wise, just goes on and on and on. I think people knocked it as it was an Asad, and they were expecting another clone like Sauvage Elixir, but for me it surpasses that - it's just a cracking scent for £20 especially for summer. Good luck with the channel, you're enjoyable to watch and that's half the job done on KZbin.

It's not my kind of scent as I don't like Sauvage Elixir to begin with, but I'll be interested to see if you get the same vibe from it that I did. I didn't dislike it, just thought it was a bit of lazy Sauvage meets PdM smell. But then it's aimed at the mainstream so it fits what Dior wanted perfectly, that stepping stone between designer and niche. Dior definitely know what they're doing as they could have released Sauvage in the Prive line and named it anything, but they stuck the Sauvage label on as they knew it'd sell like hot cakes. And it did.

Hey David GPS! lovely to hear from you again. Listen, I totally get where you're coming from, and I have to agree with you. Sauvage has become a very recognisable smell because a large number of guys have been wearing it, and so it's become a very common scent. Although I like it's scent and have one on my shelf, I must admit that it's not my first choice if I want go out wearing a unique smell! However, though, if I don't know what to wear and I'm in a hurry, so then Sauvage saves the day, but I'm aware that I'll be just another Sauvage smelling person! 🙂. Gosh I've been with my head buried in work lately, so no, I haven't heard of the new Sauvage. I need to catch up!! 🧐

But here I am to, first, thank you very much for watching my review of Yardley Gentleman Legacy vs Urbane - it really means a lot to me. Also, I'd like to answer your question. Yes, you're right, I did leave the base notes of Legacy out of my review. Why? I guess this becomes the main question! Well, at that time, I felt it wouldn't be that important as the base notes (which are, patchouli, vetiver and Oak moss) were kind of taken over by the top and middle notes; however, I now see that I should've mentioned them nevertheless because those notes are in the product. But every review has been a learning curve for me, and I can honestly say that this specific review was a big learning curve!! I truly hope this hasn't put you off watching my videos. Hi Felix , Congratulations 🎉 on over 500 subs 👍 Great review on Hugo Boss original, Felix i have still to buy any Hugo Boss fragrance 😢 i always keep forgetting and buying some other scent instead, i will definitely need to check this out on a tester , its a shame the performance is weak , i recently tried a tester of Hugo Boss Orange which was nice a fresh scent with apple , vanilla and woody scent . Hello David GPS! Thank you! little by little the family is getting bigger. It's a real labour of love as I truly enjoy reviewing fragrances. I just wish I had more time to produce many more videos every month, but I'm working hard on that regard. Now, Hugo Boss Bottled Original is, in my opinion a real sexy and attractive scent. Yes, it's a pity that its performance is so poor, but I still recommend it and will keep a bottle on my shelf. If you can put your hands on a tester do not miss the opportunity to sniff it. You mentioned Hugo Boss Orange, I haven't yet seen this one. I've also reviewed Hugo Boss Bottled Night, my very first video review actually. Also, a great fragrance. Thanks for your comment. Just watched your super review of Cerruti 1881 which i really enjoyed, im glad you enjoyed wearing it and your right it is very Masculine and great for summer 🌞 Talking about Masculine fragrance i recently picked up a stunning scent Bentley Intense , i can definitely recommend it and you can pick it up for under £35 , its lovely unusual masculine scent in a stunning silver and glass bottle. Thanks for your understanding regarding my delays in replying to you, and for the good wishes regarding me moving homes. Today was another DIY weekend. I'm glad I'm off work tomorrow bank holiday, hopefully I'll have some time to relax. My favourite scent? Gosh! now you really got me thinking! To me, being very honest with you, fragrances are just like music - it all depends on my mood, and where I'm going to, and who I'm going to see or going out with. But if I was to give you a more straight answer I'd say that I tend to enjoy more fragrances that have light sweetness, woody, green and herby scents. I like these scents because, to my nose, they provide freshness and masculinity especially if the wood notes are intertwined with oak moss. Not a straightforward answer, sorry! I guess, I don't have a single favourite scent. But have said that, I love very much the smell of Hugo Boss Original How about you, Mr D?! I have a few favorites, I love Acqua Di Gio the original edt , Joop Homme the original, Kouros , CK One , Tommy Hilfiger, Calvin Klein Eternity, Cerutti 1881, Calvin Klein Obsession, CK Shock , Versace Blue Jeans . As you can see most of my favourites are old classic scents , my favorite house is Calvin Klein .
