I realize this is a model of hardware, but if a gain knob goes from -5 to +20, it is infuriating to see it labelled -5 to +5. And I mean no disrespect, but anyone using this plugin knows exactly what a highpass and lowpass filter does, really no need to demo it.

Great plug-in. Easy to use once you understand the layout. Sounds great. Plenty of creative options. Nice addition to my arsenal. 👍🏽

Is it good to place on the masterchain?

could you explain what the drop down menu is when you right click on the bottom of the fx? Sometimes it changes to different modules but sometimes the ui doesn't change and but whatever sound preset you select does. Such as simple reverb makes a reverb fx on the sound appear but the reverb module is blank and doesn't have anyway to be tweaked at all. I don't see anything in the manual about it at all either. Cool sounds tho! Thanks!

I feel there has to be something between a 43 sec waste-of-time video of crashing waves, and the 15 min walk-thru, that could have briefly communicated what this plug-in offers, enough so to motivate me to watch the walk-thru. I just don't understand why plug-in devs invest in videos like this. Such videos just make me feel like the devs feel it's okay to waste my time.

This is a very complex console, well suited for very complex music- like jazz/rock fusion for one example. Its sections are not wide and smooth like the older Neves that came before it. But man oh man can you zero in on just about any aspect of your instrumentation. Yeah, it’s still a muscle car that needs a lot of maintenance… especially if you have 90 channels like the joints in New York tended to have. I am very glad that this was one of the first consoles that Dirk and his team chose to fully emulate. 😎👍👍

For beginners it is great. But if you are more advancing, you will have those different parts as individual plugins for more Individuality and Taste. There is a reason that there exist thousands of compressors, limiters and so on.

The Oven is in HEAVY rotation. VSM-3 was my first saturation love! The underrated one is the Fatso like circuit in XT Comp by Kiive. That's a very good flavor of saturation, too 💪🏿

„character“ might not be the best selling argument. the iron actually has less character (is „cleaner“) than a shadow hills mastering compressor or something along those lines. that makes it ideal for that final polish in a mix, taming half a db of transients in a neutral way.

WTH, this delay is literally like a synthesizer, it completely changed the sound.

why would I want to match the volume to my reference? I want my mix to sound and be as loud as the reference. Is there a meter to tell you how much louder or softer your mix compared to the reference?

when inserted into a mono channel, a single stereo version opens up, which is a bit confusing! all versions of e.g. MC77 automatically understand a mono or stereo track.. I would like to see visually less load on the plugin interface when it is in mono
