curious light is more like a resigned guiding light, there is some lines that show he's rather neutral, but one specific like says -you got this, i believe in you.... you'll be back, right?- whatever his past is, he's more like a neutral side that lost hope or doesn't want to get attached to the player because it maybe thinks we'll become one of the monster or die for real.

When I was playing I didn’t know about the rooms and the crucifix’s purpose so I used it in THE ROOMS. AAAAA IM DUMB

I don't really think Curious Light is necessarily a neutral or bad force, they're still good, just lacking much knowledge and are overall much more inexperienced, but they help where they can, like the levers and bottles in the backdoor, the extra rift, as well as the barrel of starlight at the end of the Rooms. They're still definitely a good entity, just not as skilled at helping you as Guiding Light is.

Fun fact: guiding light and curious light have the same color of lsplash character.

Guiding light = A Kind spirit/angel that doesn't want other people died or suffer Mischievous light = a demon/evil spirit that like to see people get suffer in pain Curious Light = sibling of Guiding light but He supporter Greedy Light (NON-EXIST) = A spirit that doesn't like people taking Alot of stuff (No this light non-exist = Fanmade) Honest Light (Also fanmade) = a spirit that honest to you Same as guiding light but he give a clue instead of tips Death Light (Fanmade too) = A demon light that Will appear once you get attack by entity that not instant kill Like Screech or other except: Seek, rush, figure, ambush and This spirit will appear if you get hit and then dead by Non-Instant kill entity this light will Mocking you Like: "get killes by a little creatures? Mischievous Light can be seen during all seek chases. The red light which illuminates the rooms can almost be traced directly back to Seek liquid. Or dare I call it, Mischievous liquid 💀

Didn’t expect to see you here.” You can tell that it’s been an extremely long time since Curious Light has seen anyone come through, and is intrigued. Then it realizes at some point that you can help it get out of the Rooms to find more places. But it’s going to take a long time for that to happen, so Curious Light decides to give the player vague hints to see how they interpret them for its own enjoyment. Curious Light is surprised by your determination to get through the Rooms and is thoroughly intrigued. Upon entering the Backdoor, Curious Light is a little bit more helpful, even giving some insight into how old the Backdoor is. It’s impressed by your willingness to go through 1050 doors and decides to reward you by offering you help in the form of the yellow Rift. Guiding Light definitely wouldn’t have let Curious Light near it if it knew it was a threat.

new thing about curious light BARREL OF STARLIGHT, its a item that gives 100 extra hp for a amount of time and gives a 2 minute speed bost and has 4 charges and replaced the tablet and its charges dont reset when put in the rift again.

i got a small theory about mischievous light, so yk if you use a crucifix on a boss entity like figure or seek and the crucifix turns red? i have a feeling this red is associated with mischievous light which is the one that is causing the crucifix to break. if your wondering why it doesnt happen to regular entities my only explanation is that mischievous light knows theyre common and will still come back. note: i have no proof of any of this to back it up lol
