She's a beauty ❤️.... very little corrosion on the inside .... amazing...take good care of her . I see its a right hand drive Japanese import . Whats the engine ? 660 cc turbo ? And whats your tyre size ? I love the fender flares ...where did you get them ?

Nice looking Siverado, but in the rust belt this can be a can of worms. My 97 Ford Ranger still i decent shape but pulling the bed would also require financially prohibitive upgrades so with a tape measure and some dead reckoned eyeballing I cut out an access panel and pop riveted some small angle to make a 8"x10" panel. This is my third pump and the las two replacements took the better part of 30 minutes. Granted its not a show vehicle but after 357,000 miles i found a few short cuts. Your vehicle looks great but Ford just makes it difficult for harsh winter vehicle repairs.

The best way are front and rear seats from Renault Scenic I gen .

We don't have those here, but I looked them up, and the seats are nice. I only paid 140 u.s. for these as this is mainly a budget build.

Another BIG tip: if you ever decide to get access to your spark plugs, YOU MUST remove the intercooler first. It is only three bolts, so it's very easy to do. If you don't, there's a very real chance that spark plug number 2 will be cross threaded when attempting to replace because there is NOT a 100% clean straight shot at the plug hole due to the intercooler getting in the way, but it appears good enough to try without removing first. It's very deceptive with possible catastrophic consequences. I know because that's how mine was when I bought it. I attempted to remove plug 2, but could not; it would only turn 1/4 rotation back and forth at most. Luckily a mechanic managed to get it out, but it could have gone a very bad way if I was unlucky.

This is my advice from experience of owning a JA11. I'd recommend leaving the rear quarter panel covers off. Part of the reason why rust accumulates in corner seals over the rear wheels is because humidity/condensation gets trapped behind the covers, and drips down into the corner seals, and starts rusting it. Water also makes its way behind the covers from dripping down from the windows right above since the windows aren't sealed permanently. That's why rust is forming from the inside, out. With the covers off, it'll give it a better chance for any water to evaporate off. In addition, any water will be plainly visible to be easily cleaned up since it won't be hiding behind the covers. Another rust spot that ALL Jimnys have is the very edge of the floor, right up against the rear door as seen at 1:31, but yours doesn't look too bad tbh.

quick question .. and thought id ask a professional .. so there’s this truck around my area that goes down my street near my house and the speed limit on that road is like 35 which the road is about 30 feet from me not to far .. so when he passes by LITERALLY SHAKES the house how ?! what could he have ? the truck sounds crazy loud even with him going 35 mph .. what could he have you think ?

Sorry for the super late response. He most likely has no muffler or catalytic converter which is just open exhaust. Some free flow mufflers can be loud but if it's loud at low speed he likely has no muffler at all.

I appreciate the feedback but we don't plan on selling it. For us it's just a material object that's fun to drive. We have too many performance and aftermarket items on it for it to matter anyways. Runs good ,air works, and does great smokey burnouts.

WOW!! Why would anybody cut their car? It is two bolts and a couple screws to drop that tank. Ridiculous.
@richliveslife46862 жыл бұрын
Tank was full and I live in a neighborhood that doesn't allow you to work on vehicles. This was quick and easy, and it's not like I cut a hole in the outside of the car.

I appreciate the feedback but we don't mind cutting on our cars. For us it's just a material object that's fun to drive. We have too many performance and aftermarket items on it for it to matter that it's a feature car. Runs good ,air works, and does great smokey burnouts. We will be cutting on a JCW Mini Cooper in a few months with a new lift kit and rally setup.
