Bro u are great, and a genius. I would change the end of the fight so the 3 bosses surrender at the same time, because it gets boring as there are less bosses, also I would increase the speed 30% at the end.

Ok this is absolutely incredible and I'm in the middle of my first playthrough rn I actually purposely closed my game to fight Mantis Lords who know ls how many times If your anything like me feedback is essential for getting better and that feedback usually has to be brutal so here goes nothing First you forgot the fact you can wall jump during the fight(this actually saved me so many times) Second is the spinning blade comes back at a curve depending on the height of Mantis Also I'm really sorry if this sounds rude I'm bad at online tone

cool. I had an idea too. I'm not a developer but imagine if you could make all those older games into a VR game, like you are inside there, you are the character! I think the 3d-fication can help with that too

This is interesting because it shows how going from 2D to 3D adds a LOT more space. The attacks fill up the useable area in the original version and make it very difficult to maneuver. By contrast, in the 3D version, most of the space is not being used at any given time, meaning it’s easy to find somewhere to escape to. In other words, the jump from 2D to 3D made this fight much easier, even though movement is more complicated. On the other hand, a game like portal would be much LESS complicated in 2D, for the same reasons as before: there’s simply a lot less space.

It's extremely great! A few things that could make it even more brilliant: freeze when you hit, make damage more 3d-ish, have vengeful spirit, and 4th, DON'T STOP WITH THE CONTENT IT'S AMAZING

the idea of remaking game elements you enjoy being the same as traditional artists copying master works blew my mind!! it's very obvious it works, too, as this project came out SO COOL!!!! i'd love to see more games in this style, too, you're designs for all these elements are beautifully done
