Dude im so sad bc im a cleric and generally all around good person and i had him in my party for the first half of the grove thing and now when i talk to him in camp he says "oh, you again." In an annoyed tone :((((

Well, I'm on my second playthrough right now and my bard is better at locks and traps than he is (suddenly). And in the first playthrough, my warlock could do without him as a whole either, lol. So no, that's not why I'm taking him with me every time 🙃

I haven't left act 1 yet on a new playthrough, and without gear bonuses - just ability bonuses - he has +12 for stuff like this on the regular. With gear he's at like +16 or +17. So when he says "hardly a challenge" I'm like, yup. Just need to roll at least a 2 to get past this like a breeze

This is why, in every playthrough, I have astarion with me.. always in my party. Same with shadowheart, best support, and the story heavily involves her. Both character are also my favorite romance options.

Astarion: What is my purpose? You pick locks oh my god...

My Astarion rolls 30+ regularly. He's truly the goat in every way possible. Whether it's gameplay, story or personality, he's just the best companion. - In combat he can easily solo a boss from the shadows, without ever taking damage. - Use him all the time and way more than any other companion outside of combat to pick locks and disarm traps. - His story has constant, well paced development. Each new dialogue gives so much new information while also keeping so much a mystery, until close to the end of course. Development pacing of other characters is a bit more patchy. Not to mention his story/background itself being the most intriguing, complex and emotional one. Especially because of how morally gray his actions are and how he gradually changes into an almost completely different person, for better or for worse. - Personality.......pfff. Like he once said "who needs morals when you have good hair". Nuff said.😌

How do you fix this on console I deleted a movement and behaviors mod and this is when it all started. Oh wait I found the solution you just need to do a hard reset.
