This method assumes the NTP request and reply travel the same time in both directions. I think there can and are routing phenomena that make this not true. ...and not just randomly or sometimes, but up and down direction of IP packet propagation can also differ deterministically (let's just think of the different number of routing rules involved)

Curry, Steve Nash and Mark Price have a higher percentage of free throws. Granny shot is easier to learn but you can master any type of shooting the ball and be successful. The advantage of training the normal shot is that you are going to use that shot in all situation. You can't use granny shot in game.

Better question, why don’t planes have massive parachutes for the plane itself?
@Zordiak
@Zordiak 6 сағат бұрын
This video is one strawman after another. 1. You wouldn't depressurize instantly. 2. You wouldn't let passengers jump out at 35,000ft. 3. You wouldn't use standard parachutes. 4. Parachutes weigh nothing compared to how much cargo commercial planes hold. A 747 has a cargo capacity of 264,554lbs. 200 parachutes at 25lbs each would be about 5,000lbs representing 1.88% of the total capacity. Also, we're talking about plane crashes here. Why are you mentioning how often planes don't crash? That's like saying, "We don't really need airbags because most people don't get in accidents".

NPR did a great story about this some years ago. It's a shame Shaq did not adopt it, many of his games might have turned out differently and stopped the rather shameful Hack-a-Shaq offense.

Very interesting, Scott Manley has a very interesting video on this topic too! And it includes a look at the old systems that were inside the bombs they tested that had to work at an insane speed to gather the data before they were vaporised (all those reactions occur in millionths of a second) and this was in the 50's!

I really don't understand why people haven't figured out that, if you're planning something illegal, immoral, or fattening, you don't do it over text or email. That seems obvious to me. You could use strong encryption but, to defeat traffic analysis, you'd have to encrypt _everything,_ even the most banal and innocuous messages. If you only encrypt the good stuff, it will stick out like a sore thumb.

Rich was the best known and probably most effective underhanded free throw shooter in his career - but he wasn't the only one. Wilt also experimented with the technique for a while, among others. Rich was very good with it - but record-shattering level good. He did lead both the ABA and NBA for a season in free throw percentage, but there were other seasons he played during his prime that he did NOT do so. He is also only #8 on the NBA all time "best season percentage" list for free throws, at over 3% behind Jose Calderon in the #1 spot. He is also #8 on the NBA career list, though *ALL* of the higher percentage career marks have been set after he played.

That diagram at 4:20 to 4:25 sums up nicely what ive been saying about football (soccer to yanks). Basically you want the ball to curl such that it heads towards the goal perpendicular to it. The goal is therefore bigger relative to the ball. This is why I think a perfect 2 striker pairing has a left footed player on the right, and right footed on the left. When they shoot at goal, the natural curve of the flight of the ball gives a higher goal to ball trajectory ratio. This kind of logic can also apply to taking corners, which should always be outswingers, whixb is the opposite of what they normally try. This makes it easier for attackers to strike the ball accurately and harder for defenders. ...I should be a football manager

OK so don't you think your statement above implicates prison staff of cruel and unusual punishment . The same 440 A4hz turning that drove them nutz, drove them into our prison system in the first place . Nurse Rachet was a witch 🧙‍♀️ didn't matter what music she played to the prisioners if all was 440 A4hz turning and not the peacefully 432 A4hz turning of the universe. 440 A4hz is cruel and unusual punishment to all living organisms !

Both ways are wrong, best way is to stand still and shoot it head high with a little back spin not above your head. It’s just as forgiving as underhanded and easier to master even if you don’t know how to play basketball

The “Parting of the Waters” is a hidden gem. I for one have stood with one leg in Pacific creek and the other in Atlantic creek. If you have been there you would know it parts at the base of a big spruce tree. It is watched over in the summer months by millions of MOSQUITOES. Another little fact. From the Parting of the Waters it is over 23 miles to the nearest road and any direction.
