I think Mack vacillated so much because he was an atheist who never connected with his own spiritual gifts. Everything was material to him. This was not the case with Bud at all. Bud was an accomplished artist.

Fascinating research 30 odd minutes in, implanting false childhood memories into subjects about being lost in a shopping mall.. I didn't know that John Mack appears to have prepared one subject before hypnosis, which if true does appear to cast doubt on his research methods. Well one way or another the truth about this baffling field will eventually come out.
