I work at a dining court at Purdue, the amount of young students that I work with that listen to older music is incredible! They always ask me for a song suggestion. They asked me again today, I told them Pablo Cruise! It was this song! After hearing it,The student told me thanks! It's going on my playlist ❤

To me ... BEST DRUMMER EVER. This group was FANTASTIC!!
@dmacleod38433 күн бұрын
"Best drummer ever?" Honestly?!?! Just how many have you actually listened to? Tell you what: give a listen to Neil Peart, Ian Paice, John Bonham, or Carl Palmer and then make the same claim. I'd love to hear it.

Yes, it does. When we recorded this, the Maestro simply played it while I captured the performance. There were no multiple takes or do-overs. He is so confident with his instrument.

Revisiting this vid. You can tell with Cory, the pianist that he has this down by muscle memory - doesn't even have to look at the keyboard! Mind blown.

They played at Rancho Nicasio in Marin last Sunday….. timeless ,relevant,honest, real, the best. Founding drummer Steve Price sat in on 3 classic Pablo Cruise songs. Man it felt good to be alive !

I saw them about 2 years after that in a little club outside of Sonoma, don't remember the name of the club but this song I do remember... stood about 8 feet away looking right down the keys and was just entranced...

This is Pablo Cruise... I contacted Steve Price(the drummer) on Facebook... and asked why he was no longer drumming for Pablo Cruise.... he said I needed to ask them... he was ready... Here was was actually said.... Steve Price is such an integral part of Pablo Cruise... He is still listed on Wikipedia as being a member... But on the cruises website they have a different drummer... I asked Steve on Facebook what gives... This is his reply "Cory and Dave have decided that they want to take the band in a different direction. I did not retire"
