What a well conducted interview! So many great, insightful questions for both Lise and Connor. My wife and I loved them both on the Netflix hit show and were so happy to see them on the podcast. Great job Mike!

Please excuse my language, but holy shit! I love Love On The Spectrum! Connor is one of my and my girlfriend's favorite people on the show! When I saw your thumbnail and title, I immediately dropped everything to watch this episode. While I've enjoyed every episode of yours, I think so far this one is my favorite! Also, Car Rides With Connor? I'm about to subscribe! P.S. The Smithsonian of Natural History is probably my favorite museum!

Happiness vs Pride is such an interesting topic. With all due to respect to everyone, and I genuinely mean it, I think it comes down to critical thinking and motivation. While many people do not have the means, whether financially or emotionally, if you took that out of the equation, I think many people would rather choose happiness over pride. You could even compare this to the 1970 Standford Marshmallow Test. And with the way the world is today, I can't really blame them for choosing happiness over pride. I know I've been in that situation multiple times I have so many thoughts and comments about this episode but I don't want to leave a Greek Epic in the comments. This was a great episode! Thank you both for delivering this!

Another great episode Mike! Conner was a great guest, I was dieing laughing at him not reading the second mountain book. But love the concept he talked about and totally agree. One thing I have found success with his finding my next mountain just before I achieve my first mountains peak. The journey of success is very lonely, and I love what conner talked about with finding people who are like minded. Keep it up!

I don’t think French will be the number 1 spoken language. Plus in Africa Swahili is the number 1 spoken language now and it’s still growing and I don’t see French taking over Africa because every country has its own mother tongue.

Brother, we've never met of course, but I want to say I'm proud of your progress, your commitment, your willingness to be open minded, and how candid you are when you speak. This short episode was nice because it was like having you pull back the curtain a little bit and give us a small peak into your personal life, and what you think and feel about your podcast and life in general. I think everyone has much more in common with each other than many of us may realize, but hearing you talk about all of these different things had me nodding my head thinking 'yup, I've been there. I've felt that'. Proud of you bro. Keep up the good work!

Best episode yet. Mike you are excelling at asking the right questions and your ability to actually listen to what your guests are saying and ask questions that probe deeper is amazing and why I am confident you will continue to crush within this space. Very impressive trait and one I can learn from. TSmalls this episode is fucking awesome. You are a warrior more than most people I have ever met. I have been fortunate to be your friend since a young age, and while I new probably more then some others we went to highschool, with I never fully new the extent of your battles until you started talking about them online. Either way I thought you were the man since we were little kids and think even more of you now. Love that your able to take your struggles and genuinely put good out into the world and help others go through this stuff. Keep up the good work you jacked mofo.

Kudos to your guest for staying sober for 25 years. Sobriety should be the expectation, not the exception. I just mean if someone says they're sober or want to be sober, the immediate reaction should be "cool, I dig it", and then move on. Congrats on his entrepreneurship as well. I wouldn't mind being an entrepreneur but unless you have a really great idea, like Mr. Berry here, it can be quite a gamble! This was a nice little episode to tune into while I had my morning coffee!
@ForeverForwardPod27 күн бұрын
What’s up man! So well said - “cool, I dig it” is perfect. That’s how we all ought to be - if someone’s doing something that they think is right for them (as long as it doesn’t harm others) then let ‘em go for it!

I don’t know that I’ve ever met a man who has yet to try alcohol. I’ve met many who have never smoked, but can’t say I know anyone my age who has abstained from alcohol their entire life. Very impressive display of self control and commitment to a great cause. Though I enjoy the occasional glass of wine, I believe there is no better way to experience this life than sober. So as somebody who has experienced both sides of the fence, I can say with confidence that you have chosen well. I agree with Mike as well that this has the potential to take away the stigma of sobriety being lame, like D.A.R.E. aims to do, except with something that people of legal drinking age will actually enjoy: cool clothes.
