Breakbeat is for people with a really high natural energy trust me i know because ive been jamming them since i was 6 in 1980 hahaha... You can see that only the DJ has that high energy as everyone else is not moved by the breaks. When i threw underground raves in Seattle in the 90s my focus was breakbeat & dark German trance. Both genres that were not the most popular but my raves / club nights went off like no other... Best memories of my life. A tip for getting people grooving on breaks is to start with progressive breaks at around 125bpm and work into the higher tempo tunes. A song that comes to mind is Waveform - Journey To Infinity. Anyways good on you for representing breaks...
