there is a little valley with a few trees near where i live and there is this bird there every night singing, me and my dog love the night walks cuz of this little fella we treat it like our personal little concert (there are some crickets and a few birds that join the concert)

I actually heard one for the first time yesterday. Merlin told me what it was (but I double-checked!). Lovely song.

I make sure to leave food for them in winter even if I have less or none. So their song warms me come spring. Love them.

I live in New York City by the Hudson River. There are some pretty bird songs that I can hear. But none as lovely and stirring as this little creature's songs.

I had not appreciated the beauty and complexity of the blackbirds song until now. There are seemingly infinite little variations.

I cannot but agree with @mirakor1,even though I'm an atheist. Nature itself is its own miracle, as this little fellow's voice shows us.

I know someone who was in prison for a while. She said that listening to birdsong like this on her iPod alone in her cell was the only thing that kept her sane and hopeful for her future.

truly horrible birds. Their song is generally just erratic nonsense compared to the non-pest birds that grace my land. Enough of these mud-nesting shitbirds.

Blackbird sings Adjusts his wings He makes a stunning Silhouette This morning in my garden Against the lush green grass My heart uplifts When he hops and skips Across my lawn In search of an insect or a juicy worm He’s always dressed In his shiny best With his pointy yellow beak And yellow rimmed eye Sharp outfit complete Sartorial elegance, even for breakfast Which he joins me for most days I’m very happy to say Toast and tea, just him and me A lovely start to the day

I’m glad I enjoy this sound now. Back when I was drinking and doing coke, we called these “the loser birds” because you always heard them after being up all night and felt like crap.
