Leave Carnival out of this. I only travel with Carnival and I have Never ever seen 1 fight. Royal is bad and you guys who like them are snobby. People always to us don't travel with Royal. Smh Royal is for rich thugs.

First Carnival tells me that I must use headphones even in my own stateroom. Now they are telling other people what they can and cannot do in their stateroom. What is next? Are they going to put cameras in everyone's stateroom? Goodbye Carnival... nice knowing ya.

In the past, MDR was awesome. Back before they changed the rules of how many can order. Then the quality went downhill. And the menu is getting smaller with more upcharge items.

Funny you should ask! Club C and O2 (teens/tweens) were at the very end of a stateroom hallway forward on deck 3. The door was closed off and the only thing to see was a small porthole window and a tiny sign. But then, literally while we were disembarking, we discovered the “main” entrance to the kid’s club was on the stairway landing between deck 3 and 4! But we didn’t get any footage of it. For the younger kids, Camp Ocean is on Deck 11. It’s attached to an outdoor play area. It’s right below the arcade and also near the ping-pong area. There were some organized kids activities going on - arts and crafts as well as a family scavenger hunt. Plus there are a couple of nice waterslides and a good splash zone. Overall I’d say the Venezia is pretty kid-friendly.

@@Cody_Bryant1776 I am a mindset that you dress for the occasion. I wouldn't wear a dinner dress at the pool nor would I wear a swimsuit or cutoffs to dinner. No one saying go out a buy a floor length gown or tuxedo, but put in a little effort.

I like to know why I want to book the sanctuary just to lay on a lounge chair where they're covering up the sun like why is that so much better than just being on the deck by the pool where I could go for a swim directly. I think it depends on the ship and the sailing. If you’re in the Sanctuary, you have a reserved lounger, they’re spread out more so you’re not right next to someone, and there is a waitstaff that will bring you food - special snack menu in the Sanctuary. But, yeah, we’ve been on cruises where it doesn’t really seem worth it as the regular sun deck isn’t that crowded and I don’t mind getting myself food at the Trident Grill or the buffet. Also, on most of the Princess ships, the pool near the Sanctuary isn’t actually exclusive to the Sanctuary. It is adults-only, but you don’t need a Sanctuary pass to use it.

Yes, the Star and the Sun both seem like a divergence from the standard Princess fleet. I have to admit I’m tempted by a few features but overall I think I will always prefer ships like the Sapphire!
