Hey, it was a temporary windowpainting so I used regular indoor wall paint. I did use some templates on the inside of the windows for some of the design. Hope this helps ;)

Always nice to see gold leaf windows. Well done... To offer some professional critique, it would have been better to do the gold letter first and the black shade after. The you wouldn't have the broken gold on the back of the shade. Consistent appearance from the back should be considered too.

How do you suggest heating the gelatin mix when you're on location? I think I see a thermos being used lol. Also, how did you get the words 'lingerie' to sort of pop through?

Hello, I'm sorry I didn't notice your comment earlier! I always just heat the gelatin mix in a pot on a stove and than I pour it in a thermos so it stays warm... I do use nazdar for backing up the goldleaf and after that I apply an extra layer of varnish to protect the artwork. Hope this helps ;)

what do you use to stick the leaf to the glass? I assume its not just water right? I cant seem to find out how for the life of me I'm doing a small home project. would really appreciate any advise!

Love it, I done my dad a big 2 person saw for over his yard gate as practice looks not too bad but looking back now I think I could've done better, think I was stuck in a rut but now the better weather is here I think you just need to keep at it to get better with practice, anyway I learned one thing, you don't need to pinstripe everything you can just doodle and it still looks cool, thanks bro keep em coming great stuff.
