I Never Understood Why Those Countries Who Still Use Inches Don’t Change To The Metric System Which Is So Simple?

I was wondering why the tile I've been cutting for my boss to install was always a hit or a miss. It turns out that kind of knowing how to read a tape measure and going with "a little under 8 3/4" or "a bit under 8 3/4" is not very precise. Add to that reading the tape at an angle and you've just proven that you're not the experienced tile cutter that you claimed on your application to get that extra $15 an hour over the newbies (which I totally am but looked up what a wet tile saw is and how to operate it and it was almost believable that I had experience). Thanks for maybe saving my professional career that I fabricated until I can one day say with absolute honesty that I deserve the title. FYI I got lucky with the process of lining up the herring bone pattern to the center of the room because the previous actual professional did it before I was hired. Soooo I gotta figure that part out next before I'm found out lol

WOW- this is an amazing tutorial- you even compensated for viewers who were (unfortunately) taught core math by including how fractions work- so they could still understand the lesson. On behalf of all teachers who are passionate about empowering students through knowledge and skills AND those of us with learning disabilities I salute you!

I have a question: if I mark around the outlet cover, is not the cutout too big? Should not I use the box for an outlet?
@cabinettalk83992 ай бұрын
Yes a box is better but you can cut 1/8 of an inch inside the outlet cover on all 4 sides if you don't have a box.
