As a former CEB engineer, I was quite impressed to see the emphasis on Customer Service by these gentlemen. Noel Priyantha particularly was very articulate in his philosophies and how they align with what the CEB is looking forward to in the future, with a target of 70% Renewable Energy Generation by 2030, which is Government Policy. I feel CEB with the leadership provided by new GM Ranathunga, and what looks like a good team, can achieve those objectives. At a more macro level and comparing with world class utilities, the CEB needs to be restructured and hopefully, this management team can deliver that.

I am impressed with the innovation that these gentlemen have implemented. MR always had very innovative mind as I remember him very well as young engineer. It is fortunate that MR has assumed duties as GM, as he definitely has the correct attitude and the capability to get things done by PEOPLE. Hope he has brought to the job with him the vision to restructure the CEB to make it more efficient utilising the vast skills already available within the business and cutting down wastage and destructive infighting.
