One thing that i don't understand is why the graphics on this stage look so watered down and difficult to tell apart compared to Space Cadet which are way more clean and differentiable. Is it just another type of art style or could it be that they put a lot more effort and time into Space Cadet as the demo was going to be shipped with Windows XP?

The demo was originally shipped with Microsoft 95 Plus Pack. Full Tilt came out a couple months later. Windows XP was merely a port of the demo from the Plus Pack. Each table design is different, so don't expect the same ball patterns, shots, rules, to take place exactly like other pinball games. Dragon's Keep has 3 multiball modes, 6 modes, and several music tracks; Space Cadet has 17 missions and 1 music track. Multiball and the extended OST came later with Full Tilt.

Yeah, i mentioned the Windows XP thing since it makes no sense to me that someone would put a demo of a game from 1995 into a 2001 operative system instead of adding it completely so that possibility never crossed my mind, but after my comment i went to download the game to play Space Cadet again and try out the other tables and found out it was from Windows 95 originally

Oh, so there was a bug when you finish a chapter ending mission and tilt the machine at the same time that skips an entire chapter. Wish I knew it 20 years ago.

When i used to play this game,i had this glitch where the ball was stuck on the top bumper and it kept hitting the bumper, racked a super high score. Shame back then didn't had internet.

Phased out, ultimately, in 2016, when Stern started putting LCD display games out. 2013's Wizard of Oz by Jersey Jack started that fire. Stern's Deadpool, Godzilla, and Iron Maiden, meanwhile, are some of the best games ever created in the modern day.

Gravity Well is such a bad idea. It messes up the ball trajectory especially when aiming for shots, and it's wildly unpredictable when the gravity is normalized. It can even throw the ball straight down an outlane. In other words, it can end your ball and there's nothing you can do about it.

TL;DR version: FX3 is the last release using the in-house engine, FX is the reboot using Unreal. It's likely there won't be a new iteration in the next few years. Typically, you'd want to look at release dates, so no worries on that front. FX in Unreal Engine is the latest; FX1 and FX2 are published by Microsoft Studios (hence why non-Microsoft platforms got the Zen Pinball name).
