You'd be better off on a Yamaha TY 175 or 250 through that tight single line trail. 4th Gear standing on the pegs and just flick through, mostly on the back wheel.

Thanks for sharing, this was my 1st hare scramble and I didn't too so well. I was picking my bike of the ground when you went by. Went down four times ! My Bultaco wasn't tracking well , and it seemed the front was all over. After investigating later on I discovered my swingarm bolt was loose ! id fire my mechanic, but I cant afford to replace me ! Ill try again next year.
