Instead of messing with a bent handle Allen wrench, you can use a 3/32" pin punch. I have a $25 Astro Pneumatic Tool 1600 16-Piece Punch and Chisel Set that makes this easier if you have scale buildup that holds the pin in place. I've never had to service mine before, used it for 2 years in one location with city water, went through around 3 gallons of car soap. Moved to a place with well water and now it started spitting foam out the side indicative of a clogged filter. So anyway, getting the pin out was a bit harder than shown in this video. Next, I'll use a larger punch to pop the old filter out, maybe the 5/32", and see if I can clean it for use until my next pressure washer parts order. Maybe just turning it around to back flush it will work.

Update: I used the 3/32" punch and small hammer to remove the pin. The 1/8" punch to tap out the stainless steel agitator/foamer. It appeared clean, visually indistinguishable from new. I rinsed it to remove invisible alkaline soap residue, then blew threw it with my mouth and it seemed free of restriction. Then, I checked the O-rings. They showed no signs of wear or compression, but there was a small piece of plant material on the first O-ring that explains the leak I was experiencing. Must have gotten into the garden hose and made its way to the foam cannon. I always try to flush the hose before using it, but it's not surprising that contamination made its way into the system. Anyway, the ability to disassemble, inspect, and clean this foam cannon is amazing. The build quality and functionality are premium. No reason to buy anything else. And if your water is good and you use an wax-free alkaline soap at least often enough to remove any wax buildup, I don't see a need to replace the foamer either. I use Koch Chemie Active Foam, with a 9.5 pH that's strong enough to clean but not too dangerous to be around.

It would be much more effective if you demonstrate each by Using them in actual Washing.

no the pressure washer would not have blasted the concrete away from the post if the concrete was mixed with clean water and not mud stop telling people this is the best way and if pros are using this method they are screwing they clients.

Hello, I have a Dewalt 4200 Belt Drive (DH4240B) but I need to find the specifications for the AAA pump it has, as it is currently damaged and I have not been able to order a repair kit because I do not have the pump number. Could someone please help me? I would also like a set that can be adapted to this type of pump.

Good. I have an unloader with integrated baypass. When I leave the gun trigger, the baypass at 4000psi opens. I have a 1/2 hose that is 4,921ft from the unloader to the pump. I ask. When I let go of the trigger, who suffers more, the pump that is always working impulsively with a gasoline engine or the unloader that sits between the synetic shock wave from the tip of the gun; with the construction of pressure inside the hose; and the construction of the synectic wave coming from the pressure built by the pump?

Thanks my friend, using a lower nozzle size or reduced section hose can damage the pump???

I still don't get it. Do you insert the spray nozzle/tip that needs guarding inside the nozzle guard then? It seems like the same amount of pressure comes out the end of it and I've never heard of a nozzle spraying backward or out the sides by accident, so how exactly does a nozzle guard protect the user?
@adamstrachn2 ай бұрын
It's to protect the vehicle from paint damage, not yourself. I not sure why they say it will protect you as you can still stick your hand/body part in the water jet.

I agree with what others said. The wide mouth lid connection sucks. I'd rather have regular threads. Very difficult to get on and off and for the money should be buttery smooth!

This works perfect except for that concrete pour method. Add an extra amall few steps, Use a shopvac or something to take the water out of the hole (or if you have something big enough, just fill the hole with that and take it out, if im doing a 4x4 post, im making it 4,5x4,5 and i took a 6x6 and cut it to that same size and installed a handle on the top so it acts like a toilet plunger, once in, once out, about 90% of the water is gone) Then you can put your concrete in, lined properly with your other posts with a string line of course, and if you have a friend or coworker come hold the post and keep it lined up, you can pour your concrete or vice versa. Make sure to pour a little at the bottom of the post as well, a lot of people forget that and it rots from the bottom upward and breaks. This is usually the case on most farms where (sorry to say this but it needs to be said) they hired mexicans for cheap labor who everyone believes does good work. And they do. They do great work. However, that there is one thing they actually forget judt like most everyone else. Anyway, do it this way to ensure it has strong, foundational concrete, and doesnt break easy in 15 years. If its something minor or temporary, dont worry about it and just do as this guy in the video did. If its something you are putting money into, and will have flies coming out of your wallet like a dry spell, you want your moneys worth out of it. So do it how i explained. Best or luck to you all, and hopefully you learned something. Maybe someone will comment and teah me something, who knows.

I find it interesting that you use a FEMALE QC on the pressure washer inlet. I try to, as much as possible, keep FEMALES on my hoses since they hold up to scuffing better. Therefore, that "pigtail" you use from the reel to PW would have a female QC on it. Any reason to do otherwise?
