Yeah, Diva's party has like damn near everything except for a mage, and even then she can recruit a mage fairly quickly. Her scenario probably wouldn't be considered good for a beginner because there's a lot to learn about her party right off the bat, but damn her party gets really strong really fast once you understand how each party member works. Even though this is only the demo phase, my Diva's party already feels stronger than my Urpina's party did halfway through Scarlet Grace. Constantine also shows up in the character trailer for Bonnie and Formina as a suspect that they are initially trying to apprehend. I am expecting a backstab scenario in Diva's party or for him to leave the party at some point, and it's gonna make me sad because he's a really good fighter and he does seem to legitimately care for Diva. The ultra suspicious thing is that there's tiny hints that Boudica is being set up to take Constantine's place as Diva's 'second in command', since she continues participating in dialogue, when all the other starting party members stop getting screentime after they are first introduced. (Constantine points out that it's also Boudica's first time world hopping when he takes Diva to the connecting realm too.)

@@Alilatias I'm actually (very slowly) working my way through Urpina's scenario in SG so I absolutely understand that sentiment lol. Definitely looking forward to what general direction they take D5's story (Constantine and all), especially with how potentially variable each world seems, I can't help but wonder if it's entirely possible that the main scenarios might also have multiple outcomes based on worlds visited and choices made.

@@FrogofWarRS There are definitely multiple scenarios for at least some worlds I'm sure, coming from the main game and a bit of demo experience from Ameya I've seen three outcomes from the final emperor one where alexandre is the last emperor friendly and you fight a monster called Iron Maiden this one in the video I haven't personally seen where alexandre is the last emperor and hostile and I just got one where the final emperor is a seperate being and takes on a monsterous form to fight back against outworlder invaders. I've seen from skimming imperfect guides that apparently there's another where leia becomes this human form of the final emperor instead.

Yeah, I ended up figuring this out a couple days ago. I'm still wondering exactly what that one person on GameFAQs did that resulted in her dying when they fought against the final calamity. I have figured out how Pulchara progression works, at least in regards to the white and black witch paths, so I should edit the video description with that. So far, it seems like intervening or watching doesn't actually affect much at all.

@@Alilatias From my own runs, Ameya always dies in the final calamity battle on the Yellow Witch route no matter what you do. You can still offer to fight in her place but she insists on doing it herself and dies as a result. You get the option to recruit Wilma on that route instead. This is also the route where the calamity always overtakes three regions as you can only visit one other region before you are locked into pursuing the yellow region specific plot thread.

8 races, 2 genders, at least 2 distinct variations for each that basically means a metric fuck ton of unique player face models and animations. yes it actually is a lot to ask for unfortunately.

@@brennanlable Yet still, SWTOR a game from 2012 gives us 8 classes and several expansions, each class with own voice actors for both genders as well as multiple races and model sizes.

@@brennanlable Still running. What I wanted to say was, FF XIV is awesome but not perfect, and there are features and areas that can or should be improved. Though many of that will be covered by the Graphical upgrades over time.

It would be nice to have more content yes but whether or not some game made in the past was able to make more races has fuck all to do with ffxiv. Its just useless speculation and griping

For what it's worth, most people consider this the hardest boss in the game. Your home point is probably going to be stuck here until you figure something out, unless you enjoy swimming all the way back up the tree...

@@auraguard0212 The boss and his minions inflict a crazy amount of damage. If you don't have a setup capable of killing the boss quickly, the whole fight revolves around knowing when to buff/debuff and blind which attacks. The fixed damage leer attack + the follow-up attack that happens right afterwards (along with the minion also attacking) is typically not survivable with most tank setups, so blinding the boss so that the follow-up attack misses makes that much more manageable.

Well, look at it this way: that just means your Welt will be absolutely busted when you DO get them. After all, it's already been announced that everyone's getting a free Yukong next patch. This is more of a synergy showcase rather than a showoff thing since my whole team's gear is average at best. Though I'm pretty curious to see your build so I can see what I have to look forward to, once I get my Welt fully set up as mine isn't anywhere near maxed out.

@@ezekilver3292 Lv. 70 and only having Lv. 7 traces. My lack of credits is killing me. I deliberately avoided a Simulated Universe showcase since I know stuff is super inflated in there, and it isn't accurate for anything. I had a SU video against World 3 Gepard that I decided wasn't worth posting since it wouldn't tell anyone anything useful. Welt was effortlessly shitting out 100k+ damage in there, bursting Gepard down before he could even use the 'HP shield' mechanic. The nice thing about Yukong is that her ultimate provides a crit rate boost to the party (+30% or so when maxed out, along with additional +75% crit damage), so you don't need to build critical hit rate as much. I've also since learned there are other things I can do to maximize damage, like having my Welt use my S3 Good Night and Sleep Well LC instead of his personal LC (though I feel his personal LC is more consistent since it doesn't have any conditionals, while GNSW requires at least 2 debuffs on an enemy first for it to be better, which is going to be harder to pull off in teams where Welt is the only debuffer), and my Yukong using my S5 Planetary Rendezvous LC instead of her personal Past and Future (PR is better for an Imaginary team and has no conditionals besides the user being of the same element as everyone else, Past and Future is better if the primary DPS isn't Imaginary, but that DPS will need to be speed tuned to move after Yukong).

- Luocha: 101 speed, 11.6% break effect - Welt: 102 speed, 11.6% break effect - Yukong: 107 speed, 5.8% break effect - Silver Wolf: 107 speed, 45.3% break effect, 112.4% effect hit rate (though I only brought her here for her wall of debuffs and didn't have anyone else better that I didn't need for the other team, as everything was already weak to imaginary) I wouldn't say this is low investment, my Welt *is* E1 and I have his LC, which is simply something most players don't have yet. My major wall is the same as everyone else - just simply not having enough trace materials and artifact luck being artifact luck. My long term goal is getting another Imaginary character to fill out this team, along with hopefully whatever 50/50s I lose being either additional Welt Eidolons or additional copies of his LC so that I can eventually get him to E6 and his LC to S5. After seeing what happened here, I think it'd be hilarious if I could just build the most busted Welt I possibly can.

The thing that shocked me the most was that the traces were only up to 7 and he's only lvl 70 without the final passive @.@ That's a surprisingly low bar to reach, but more importantly, it's nowhere near maxed out, which is promising. Obviously, E1 probably makes a world of difference, but I think scaling up the level, traces and eventually relic investment should allow even E0 to replicate or at least approximate it eventually. And I love that, because my non-Seele team needs as much help as it can get >.< I couldn't decide which of my carry options to invest into next, but your showcase helped me make up my mind. I know this is late, but gosh I feel this. Badly. That sort of anxiety is so incredibly encumbering, and just nags at you constantly. Even if I try to live in the moment and somehow bury it in my mind, it always comes back to me, especially when I'm half awake. Wish I knew what to do for it. I'm at least able to get respite from it in my dreams, I can only hope it's the same for you.
