Why do these setups use these old style EQs rather than using a full function DSP that could take care of equalization & crossover, and even give you the added benefit of phase and time alignment functions? I think those functions would be rather useful for these set ups and if done properly could eliminate the need for a wired external setup.

This is what they call LA , it’s A 6.5 inch mid bass/range speaker with wave guide . Drivers usually have this horn connected to it.

Dude, can you make the video on how to connect the drivers, I’m guessing u can use a 8 pin connection, run it as it’s own channel and connect it to the amp. Then you’ll only have 3 channels to the amp. Would be nice if you can show it.
