So what are the pros and cons compared to the mustache? Would love your feedback!

Pros for the Mullet are the materials seem to be more durable and it has more lift/performance, also the colors are nicer. Cons are it doesn't have the dump system for the sand to weep out the glider like the Moustache and because the materials are thicker on the Mullet it doesn't kite as easy in lighter winds and the shark nose is heavy, so it falls forward. No problem if its windy. I'm waiting for the 23m Mullet to come to test it out in since this was a 20m and I flew the 22m Moustache it should be more comparable. I needed 20plus mph to barely soar the 22M Moustache at Cape Kiwanda and I was able to soar the 20m Mullet in 15 to 17mph. Once I demo the 23Mullet I will post an update.

Looking forward to that update. My communications with Flow got responses that the Mullet is a bit more mellow than the Moustache despite being similar in design concepts. Would you agree? Flow says the Mullet is more for the average level of pilot. I wish Flow offered more info on its website like Moustache.

Wondering if the increased soaring performance is from a greater number of cells, smaller openings, and the shark nose tech on the Mullet. I do notice the Mustache is a bit easier to kite as well, but I think part of that is the larger openings, which do reduce glide performance. I'm wondering if the larger opening on the Mustache do make it a bit more stable in stronger winds and bigger swoops. But maybe the shark nose makes up for that on the Mullet. Love to hear your update as well its a tough decision between the two.

Both wings look awesome; I can only guess that many manufacturers are busting ass to get an offering to market - and bloody stupid if they’re not! I just don’t get how they can soar in what seems like such light wind? A typical 18m mini wouldn’t go anywhere in that wind. I remember some old kite bars used to have a resting notch mechanism so you could cruise at trim. Looks like it needs something similar so you can go hands free for a time when needed. Looking forward to more details/comparisons - thanks for posting 🤙
