Love the video but your boyfriends annoying commentary ruined. He was trying to be funny but was just irritating.

Beautiful collection. You do anything to keep them well preserved, like maintaining a specific temperature?

a bit off topic but i thought you might know .What are some good quality/reputable hardcover books (preferably special/deluxe editions) brands that are affordable other than the Barnes & Noble exclusives?

I think it will be cool if RL Stein writes some new goosebumps books, but for adults but the same artwork and style with the raised letters

Stunning collection and expensive. I just found out that books need to be pushed to the back of the shelf, so the bindings don't get warped. It isn't as aesthetically pleasing, but with books of that quality, ...it's also slightly better protection from dust, so the pages don't need to be brushed as often. Absolutely stunning. Thank you for sharing.

I just started my Easton Press collection. I’m almost done with Divine Comedy and I’m super excited for the books to start coming in. They’re so beautiful to look at.

You've got a beautiful collection. 😍 I am thinking of starting a collection of my own sometime in the future. I'm still doing research on what editions would fit me best. I feel like the editions you own are a bit too big for me personally and I feel like I'd constantly be stressed not to crack their spines and damage them since they look so gorgeous. ☺️

Gorgeous volumes and quite a few of them promote your personal development too. If I completely understood Aristotle's Nicomachean Ethics I would count myself a better person. Thanks for the tour!

I collect children's books of this sort as an adult because when I was a kid, I wasn't allowed to buy books that were popular with kids my age at the time (e.g. Choose Your Own Adventure, Encyclopedia Brown Boy Detective, The Three Investigators, &c.), so for the next 35 years, I was dead set on getting not just the books I wasn't allowed to buy but their original first editions no matter the cost; at this time, I am focused on collecting Alfred Hitchcock and the The Three Investigators Series, all in 1st edition hardcovers. As for Goosebumps, I've read only one book as a kid, though I plan to buy a whole set sometime in the future after filling-in the gaps in my Encyclopedia Brown 1st ed. collection.

I bought several Easton Press books at a thrift store over weekend so I recognize some of the spines. I also have a facsimile of the 1623 Shakespeare first folio printed in 1946, which I have stripped its cover and did a rebinding in real calf leather with 18kt gold title on the spine. That said, I'd like to see Easton Press produce leather bound editions of the Hardy Boys, Nancy Drew, Alfred Hitchcock and the Three Investigators, and Encyclopedia Brown Boy Detective series.

I've found Ebay and Abe's to have various Easton Press volumes available as used volumes. I just purchased the Bulfinch's Age of Fable and the Age of Fable Illustrated editions from Ebay for my brother's March birthday. I have been collecting the Science Fiction and Signed Masters of Science Fiction collections -up to 107 now. I purchased the Richard Burton Thousand and One Nights (aka Arabian Nights) 17 volume collection as well. Also acquired a non Easton Press a copy of the 50 volume Harvard Classics, which is also gilded leather bound (but not as good as Easton). I have 2100+ volumes in my collection of books -and growing... Ordered 4 yesterday!

I think the most attractive Easton Press book is Lysistrata, by Aristophanes, illustrated by Picasso. It's a big red leather volume, very attractive.

I didn't like The Book Thief at all, although I usually really enjoy historical WWII themed books. No idea why it would be popular at all, I can think of many better ones. Found your video because I was looking up how to find books through Goodwill Outlet. Hope you update shopping for books there and how much, etc. I think it's by the pound?

Unbelievable collection! But it seems like you have very little respect for these books. The way you are talking about them so casually or handling them so roughly and dropping them. It's evident you didn't collect these books yourself. Otherwise you would have super cautious about these books.

I second Lonesome Dove as a good western if you like friendships as the center of the plot. I’ve heard great things about The Sisters Brothers, though I’ve only seen the recent film myself. Congrats on the engagement!! I hope things are going smoothly for you guys. It will be a whirlwind (or was already by the time of this comment?!) but it’ll be great ❤🎉

Your collection is gorgeous. I started collecting them a couple years ago. I find them used pretty inexpensively and generally in fine condition because most people don't read them, they just leave them on the shelf. I like reading a really fine edition. I often pick titles that I have heard about but never read. Examples are William Tell, Cyrano Bergerac and Don Juan.

Wanted to reply when you posted the video but got sidetracked ! Loved your video. You and Troy are adorable as always. Hamnet will break your heart. The Priory of the Orange Tree - broke my heart the romance was really heavy for me. It wasn’t an easy read sometimes and at other times I couldn’t get enough. The prequel got released today! I hope you enjoy it! Babel- I can’t believe you didn’t finish The Poppy War series yet! I hope you finish it soon. It broke my heart with that ending. But it was a really nice ending where it kinda of tied up everything. I still think of it now and then. Babel was kind of hard for me to read at times but overall I loved it. Very awesome haul as always and always enjoy seeing you guys!

I don’t know which authors you are looking for but is it possible a lot of the booktok books are self publisher authors? In those cases I don’t know that you would find their books in Barnes and nobles but on Amazon

Yes!! That’s exactly why B&N doesn’t always provide unfortunately. I love that independent authors are taking over booktok though
