SLIPPERY SAM has an interesting history. Rumour has it, at one time it was owned by an accountant in Warrington who simply thought it would be a good investment where it went missing. Is there a point where its whereabouts are unknown, can anyone confirm?
Canada Heights looks like an industrial estate with all those tin buildings. Pity they can't use all that ground in the woods like they did when I rode it.

Pity we couldn't see any of the actual terrain the riders were struggling on.

I remember a Chris McGahan racing a 250 production bike, Montesa I believe, in the early '70s. He was neat and smooth and very quick way back then and was able to mix it with the bigger bikes. Great stuff.

superb ... god knows what revs he's pulling when he cogs down ... but a lot ... in the second clip of the triple .... the gearbox must be very close ratio bunging it down 4 gears into the Creg and that's not first he's in when he comes around the corner so must be a P&M six speed ... but in the picture at the beginning looks to be a stock primary and not the belt drive ... so may be a P&M 6 speed can be used with a stock primary ??? anyone know the answer?
