I have a Peugeot 301 with the PSA group 1.6 HDI, I might do a DPF and cat delete + butterfly valve before the OEM muffler

@@eljaibas16 Damn, I wish I could do the DPF and EGR delete, but it wouldn't pass inspection where I live.

@@fatfalcon3434I wouldn't either, idk about ur car but the downpipe on my car is the DPf and cat assembly, it has a V band on the turbo and another on the end of the downpipe assembly so that it connects to the rest of the exhaust, what I'm planning to do is install a downpipe with v bands so when I go to the inspection I can install the OEM downpipe assembly, so that I pass it, then I can install the straight downpipe.

@@eljaibas16 I'd have to check but I'm pretty sure that there are no V bands on mine. If there are though, i might do the same thing as you, but with a butteffly valve since I wouldn't want it to always be noisy

​@@fatfalcon3434 He has removed the DPF and now spreads cancer in the form of microparticles <PM10 right to the faces of all people, on purpose. He has removed the noise silencer from his car and now terrorizes thousands with stupid noise for zero reason, on purpose. Nobody else is responsible, only him. Don't tell me anything about ships, planes, or "big corporations" - these don't have Common rail high-pressure pumps production micro soot and don't drive on the streets spreading this right into people's lungs and blood. And no, those big old diesel truck engines don't produce it. It is a specialty of TDI, CDI, CRDi, HDI, DCi = Common rail injection. That's why the DPF is there. So why?

With the turbo sound I think that has to be dpf off, the dpf on muffles turbo sound a bit

In eastern Europe it's common practice to delete the DPF, so I wouldn't be surprised if it wasn't there
