I have the 50mm and i love it, really recommend it if your on a budget and a beginner. But i do agree that i dont love that its set on 50 if anybody has any suggestions for a good lens maybe from 18 to 50 mm and gladly a good all around lens like 18-200 but it does not have to be that much. I have the canon eos 600d (EF and EF-s)

I use the 90D with the Sigma 17-50 f2.8, I would have bought the 18-35 f1.8 if it had built in stabilisation like the 17-50 but it unfortunately doesn't :/ so low light photography is a lot more limited

Those 18-55 kit lenses are awful. So is the 50 F1.8 in most situations unless. Recently got a 24-105 F4L and it’s probably my favorite lens I’ve ever used.

70D? That's pretty new, even. I started with a Pentax K200d that was FREE with a manual focus 50mm f2. I used that combo for like two years and took some amazing photos. I upgraded to a 6D and now an R6. But I've also got a whole 40D kit for 30 bucks - which I can take into a canoe or waterfall or whatever. It's weather sealed and a total beast and even if it sinks to the bottom of the lake - no huge loss. Taking photos is all about being there and having the camera with you when you see good photos. Plus, making good photos by being out when the light is good, finding more angles then the most obvious, etc. Your editing, I find a little over the top, though. I usually try to shoot photos like it's slide film - get the light right and if the jpeg already looks stunningly good - you've got one hell of a shot that a little editing can only polish. But I like to document points in time, places that won't be there forever. Urban landscape in addition to regular landscape usually.

Sir i want to learn photography

Some of my friends had way more expensive cameras than I did and my photos always blew theirs away. I invested more in lenses. And they couldn’t understand y my shots were so much better.

In 2015 I impulsed purchased the 70D for shooting cars. I sucked. Came across portrait photography and loved it. I owned a handful of lenses but the Sigma 50-100mm f1.8 Art (crop sensor lens) was locked on my camera.

A 10 year old camera is basically an A7RII 😂 10 years is not old.

It’s not the camera nor the lens x it’s the skill that counts
