This expansion felt very out of place for me. I can't put my finger on why, but I felt like this entire location was straight outta FFX. Loved FF16, though. A better game than most give it credit for.

So I just recently beat Rebirth. Even knowing THAT moment was coming really was not enough, with all the extra bits Aerith got in this game, they really did a good job leading into the Forgotten Capital, this scene being chief among them. Definitely expecting her absence to be **felt** hard in Part III.

my little brother would watch me play the game a TON and would always ask if he could try. the only time i let him play was during this sidequest since it was more on par with his age. he enjoyed it a lot and whenever i hear this i think of him 🥲
