I've been making Jerky for decades. This is a mass produced method. It takes 4 day's to make mine , It's the best.

In South Africa we make "Biltong" that is our equivalent for "Jerky" We use various spices, Vinegar, Worcestershire Sauce, Salt, Brown sugar etc. The Vinegar helps to preserve the meat, Worcestershire Sauce and the rest add to the flavour. We make "Biltong" from Beef, Kudu, Eland Impala, Blesbok, Springbok etc. The best "Biltong" is made by farmers, Game farmers, butcheries and the "privateers" Each adding their own unique mixes of herbs and spices etc. 😋
