Good job on these officers but I am against University Police the law enforcement officer gets his authority from the people we elected Sheriff we elect a mayor we elect the governor and we give them the authority to deputize a university is a private business the head of that police department is actually the chancellor a non-elected individual so by definition and constitutional law this is a private Police Department which are illegal in the United States the same goes for the Federal Reserve police and most taxi and train police these officers are paid by the University

•••Update: when Julian Navarrette returned to work he was placed on desk duty, then returned to regular service. On 8/18/21 at the AZ POSTB a unanimous motion was passed to begin proceedings to revoke Navarrette's PO certification which means he cannot be an officer. • Dude, you are an officer and you are NOT above the law. Wow, digging yourself a grave by continuing to talk s**t about your agency NOT having body cameras and how you do "business" there. Then saying how he would let a friend or fellow LEO walk home with a warning...that says a lot about his morals. Get body cameras on EVERY officer in the USA!
