The signs and symptoms of pancreatic cancer literally overlap with a thousand other illnesses. Isn’t there any more specific set of symptoms? In America the medical industrial complex loves to hypocritically preach that screening and testing is the best prevention. But good luck getting them to actually practice the hypocrisy they preach. Apparently in America the insurance industrial complex gets to illegally practice medicine by dictating procedure over actual doctors. Health Insurance Companies are a corporation not medical licensed healthcare professionals. Which have absolutely no right to be dictating policy or procedures over an actual doctors. The reality is if an American actually has this damn disease and they’re not rich. Then they are a dead because by the time said individual is forced to wade through all of bureaucratic shit and greediocy. The cancer will have spread and it be far too late to treat at that point. It’s a disgusting reality and it gives a whole new meaning to Hippocratic oath. Which should be changed to the hypo-critic oath. Things like ct scans, x rays, and ultrasounds are old technology. This stuff has been around long enough that it shouldn’t cost the price of greediocy to use on patients anymore. There’s absolutely no reason beyond the greed of the medical industry for these procedures to command a premium. This country has hospitals that charge hundreds of dollars for the administration of Tylenol. This alone should be telling us that something has gone horribly wrong within our healthcare industry.

Quit drinking and smoking weed. Every time I went back to weed, my blood tests would show my pancreas was messed up. I'd quit and it goes back to normal.

Had this from gallstones. I actually fought off several attacks over the course of one year not knowing what it was. Just that the pain was intense and it was squeezing my chest. Sometimes come on strong it would last 5 minutes sometimes it would build slowly and last all day. On the final one it was very bad and I was very nauseous, vomitting and was also jaundiced. My bowels had also shut down. It was pretty bad. Had to have the gallbladder removed. Was in the hospital for a week on anti biotics through iv and could not eat or even drink. Started hallucinating after about 48 hours. Don't know what caused that but between the antibiotics, the sickness, not eating or drinking, the pain and the Dilaudid I guess it's not all that surprising. If a pain of 10/10 meant dropping dead or passing out this would have to be pretty damn close to a 9. Not cool at all.

Everyone says it's painful and radiates to the back but no one says exactly where the pain is located or starts at. I'm still wondering if it starts at the upper left, middle or right side of the abdomen. Maybe the pain came from the gallbladder or liver or colon or even a kidney?

It's the worst pain I've ever experienced and I knew I had to get to the hospital or I was going to die. Like the woman in the video, I was also lying on the bathroom floor in a fetal position in agony. It started early in the evening and I was pacing the floor for hours (couldn't sit still) and it just kept getting worse. I finally got that impending sense of doom and knew I had to roll. My wife drove and I was flailing and thrashing around the entire way. She said I had to wait in the waiting area for almost an hour before they took me back. I was in so much pain that I don't remember much of it - it's kind of a blur. I remember them pushing the dilaudid and thanking God for that and I went out. Even while on pain meds, it was very difficult to stay still for them to take x-rays. I was in the hospital for 8 days and it was a terrible experience. They pumped me full of IV fluids until I was 3rd-spacing it and about to burst (that was very painful), catheter, NG tube...it sucked. I was exhausted and just wanted to sleep but they will not let you. It was maddening. I was so weak when I got released...even my voice was weak. It took quite a while to get back to normal. This was years ago and I recovered and I haven't had any further problems. I don't wish this on anyone.

I’ve been admitted into the hospital every month since January ‘21 (7 months) for pancreatitis. It’s one of the worst pains I’ve ever had and I’ve had 7 ACL surgeries. My pancreatic levels at one point were 4,000 (normal is 40-300). That one almost killed me

Worth noting there are rarer signs of it as well which can crop up early: Thrombosis of the superficial veins that migrate around the body (Trousseau's sign), swollen gallbladder, thickening skin on the palms, velvety and darkening patches of skin, unusual headaches (by this I mean great amounts of pressure, blurry vision, feeling off balance etc) - all can be part of what's called paraneoplastic syndromes (so from what I understand, an immune reaction caused by the underlying cancer). Some people have also oddly reported depression, sudden distaste for alcohol and periodontal disease, but keep in mind these seem to be especially rare. Again, going from personal experience, these can crop up sometimes years before the cancer is detected/easily findable, and these symptoms are not usually on doctor's radars. Usually won't be pancreatic cancer, just bare in mind. But of course if anything seems odd, along these lines and you notice them in tandem with one or two of the symptoms in this video, go to your doctor and be upfront about your concerns!

I had to be hospitalized due to chronic pancreatitis. The pain is unreal. I have been in the hospital for 5 days now waiting to remove the Gaul bladder. This has been the worst pain I have ever experienced. The burning and bloat ness in horrible. I barely can sleep due to the pain, the pain killers only work for a little bit.
