That trail was a real doozy! Yikes. I live near the Ohio to Erie Trail and sometimes after a hard rain parts will be flooded. A couple years ago a section in the Cuyahoga Valley Natl Park got washed away completely.

We have had a lot torrential rain so that is the worst I 've ever seen that trail, scared myself a couple times, I worry about something happening when I am on my own! Thank goodness for these damn cell phones!

@BufordDuckworth thanks so much for commenting, Ya I tell people I post these to my KZbin Channel but I do not ask them to like or subscribe or even look I just let people know I post my rides., I do love when people comment. The bike lanes and trails around Toronto are awesome it is just worrisome getting to the bike lanes or trails on our roads. I try to be super nice to car drivers I do not want to provoke an us versus them (bike vs car) confrontation, life is short I try to get along with everyone, it is just so much easier to be nice. Thanks again and 'keep the rubber side down, shiny side up' Brother'!

Ha you are right I am nowhere near Taylor Creek, it had to be much earlier in this ride, this is more like Balmy Beach Club and Woodbine Beach west on The Martin Goodman Trail ?! Thanks for the comment @cheesyrider6914

The groups of people on Jarvis were Marchers in the Parade BUT with no float, they let a float go and then a couple marching groups go and then a float goes and then a few marching groups and on and on so they line up on Jarvis. The Parade Floats are lined up down Rosedale Valley Road and they come up from there.

I left my place before 3am I think(I just checked my Strava, I left at 3:06) I like the early rides a lot and the city lights and reflective signs and my music can make it feel like a video game. Needless to say there are far less (but just as dangerous) cars. Lots of party people out at that time but then suddenly you are in High Park in the middle of the city and it is pitch black and quiet, I know it is quiet as I notice the nothingness between songs. Keep the rubber side down!

I love those late-late night bike rides, you usually dont see people biking their stress away so early in the morning. ride safe and remember, ride to return.
