hilariously this Dream Theater track they used isn't even on the album! The album, if it's the same one, is actually super hard to find. Hell, I was looking for a physical edition on ebay. no such luck. Thankfully, if you have any interest in this album, someone DID upload it to the internet archive. sadly, the MP3's are only 128 kbps so the quality is subpar. Also worth noting, the album art used here doesn't seem to have been used on the final version of the album. The album is split into three discs as well, and none of them fully utilize the space given to them. Also for some odd reason, ascension/Garden of Grace is instrumental as well on the album. I guess maybe there was some kind of rights dispute about the lyrics. Weirdly, Garden of Grace is on the soundtrack twice under the name "Ascension" and it's pretty much the same track just 1 second shorter. Whomever did this album did a half assed job. The highlight of the album are two remixes of the Movie's Dragonball Z theme and a remix of Havoc as well as the original version. I feel bad for anyone that bought this album hoping their favorite track was on it, only for it to not be on it or not be on it in its proper form. The actual name of the soundtrack is also different. Rather than it being simply "History of Trunks Original Soundtrack" it's actually "DragonBall Z - 'The History of Trunks' Soundtrack Limited Edition Collectors EP" I mean it's possible there were two soundtracks because the name seems to imply the case but highly unlikely as the other one would have surfaced by now if that were the case.

There was a lot of people that should have been held accountable with many dbz releases. The first cooler movie, when Funimation ''Remastered'' it. the US version's audio is completely messed up on the remastered dvd and blurays compared to their original DVD release. songs start and stop in places it shouldn't. lines were changed for no reason what so ever with Korin and Yajirobe. for that release alone, someone should have been sat down and talked too. I used to have a video on it showing the differences but sadly when my computer died, i lost the video. the best thing i can do now is point you towards the scene where Korin and Yajirobe say, oh btw whats a bean daddy? was changed to something else and almost all fight scene parts, Funi's dub music was changed all around all over the place. Honestly, i need to make a new video again for future fans showing this. Me and another friend actually took the time and fixed it ourselves but it was just never uploaded anywhere.

@@asseertedwolf Yeah I know about all of this you said already. this Album release though was from the original version before all this remaster nonsense was a thing. The album just seems like it was rushed out the door. Is this even the same album though? That's what I am curious about. The Album itself as I stated is actually SUPER RARE. like I looked for it on ebay and there were no listings. I imagine if a physical version of this album comes up for sale, it will always be quite expensive due to its rarity. I am not even sure about the album cover featured in the video if it was released like that or not as all we have for album covers for the released album are three low quality pictures of the covers of all three discs and I am not even sure if those are the proper covers or not and just the internal covers of a sleeved release. As chances are they were inside a sleeve rather than just released as individual jewel cases. I bet this album would technically count as semi-lost media because of all the questions people have about it.

@asseertedwolf The bean daddy scene was my favorite part. When I noticed the change in the Remasters it was very confusing and annoying cause I was used to what was said, so I just went and found a copy of the original DVD, fixing that issue for me. 😁

Silly request, put you know how there's an end card after the ending credits that credit those involved with the DVD specifically? (Menu Design, Subtitles, Authoring, etc.) Could you possibly respond with a text transcript of what's said on that end card? I've been updating databases with missing info and want to address any name misspellings or role inconsistencies (I've recently went through all the Remastered DVDs for the movies, but I don't want to spend loads on the old singles if I can help it.) Thanks.
