Hi, When I bought this H1. 8 years ago. Most of the bike was already there, it just required a deep clean, respray of the wheels, and service etc. However the other ZXR's I have they've been labours of love getting them looking mostly all original. Original parts are increasingly hard to get hold of. Best regards.

Grinding under load. Engine out job or swap I'm thinking. I might get around to it if it's not sold. But I might not lol.

@@waynester71 Hi Wayne, What with it being stood for years it'll have some gremlins for sure I'd imagine. 4th gear grinding under load issue is one. If it doesn't sell I'll get her running. There's some rare parts on this but the average person won't know that. Best regards

I'VE NOTICED ALL MY VIDEOS ARE NO WHERE NEAR AS EASY TO WATCH AS THEY ONCE WERE. I THINK IT'S THE FRAME SPEED? THEY'RE ACTUALLY HARD ON THE EYES... IT'S NOT ME. WHEN I UPLOADED THEM, I CHECKED THEM BUT NOW SOMETHING HAS HAPPENED. IT'S MORE THAN LIKELY KZbin. I ALSO DON'T GET ANY COMMENT NOTIFICATIONS AND SOME OF MY COMMENTS DISAPPEAR. Anyways View in 1080 resolution and perhaps slow the speed down to appreciate it more. A video of it being started from cold and running will be uploaded in a day or two. Best regards. £4000

Hello When I first uploaded it. It actually played at a slightly slower speed. I don't know what's happened but I can only presume it's a combination of KZbin and admittedly my lack of camera skills. Albeit it's taken using a mobile phone. The Fireblade cold start video is also similarly affected. Bizarre.

Please view in high resolution i.e. 1080 to appreciate it more. It's extremely original. I have one job left and that is to either source new NOS black fairing fasteners or clean the one's I have and spray them black, as the original paint has been polished off. Best regards.

The date this was recorded and uploaded was The year of our Lord 21st November, 2023. Points to make regarding these bikes:- 1) They're rattly. This one once warmed up sounds a lot less rattly. I did consider pulling the automatic cam chain tensioner out one click when recommissioning it. But I didn't. I'm thinking perhaps I should have. 2) They don't generally like being stored away for years. However this was actually a delight to put back on the road after 3 years stored away with all the petrol drained and oil replaced (8ltrs being put in) Reason being:- 3) The clutch plates tend to stick to each other when not used for a long length of time. So gentle toing and frowing whilst the rear wheel is on a paddock stand is strongly suggested. Otherwise the clank will make your heart break as it's loud. 4) They're big. They're cumbersome on the side stand. They're heavy. They're no fireblade. But I very much like them... So much so... I've had the candy wine red scheme.( Recently sold) The lime green (I'm keeping) And this black one that I've decided to sell but not after enjoying it for a month or two beforehand. Take care people. And seek the Lord before it's too late.

Hi, Thanks for the comment. You'll be taken aback by the condition when all the original plastics are put back on. It's in similar condition as the candy wine red ZX9R in my other video. They're big, They're heavy, And moving them around on the side stand is cumbersome. But I can't help but like them. Take care. I hope you get a good one.

Hi, Sorry for the delay in replying. I'm never notified of messages these days. It's the first water cooled GSXR 1100. Model is WP 1994 Netherlands specification however I changed the headlights to UK specification for our MOT. Best regards.

Wow, this brings back some memories. In 1994 I had a 1992 GSXR 750, black with silver and blue, and if I recall correctly that was the year the first GSXR 600 was introduced, and of course they also had the GSXR 1100 as well. Although mine had two square tail lights instead of the single, but I went with the ZX7 since in those days Scott Russell was winning races, and ended up with a left over 1993, which also had the wide frame instead of the cradle the GSXR's still used. Also my 1992 was an air and oil cooled bike, and ran rather hot here in Florida during summer months. Hard to believe how clean it is...

Hi, Sorry for the delay in replying. I'm never notified of messages these days. Yes... When I sold it a couple of weeks ago for buttons sadly as there was no interest in it. It definitely left my hands in extremely good condition. The purchaser apparently is sending it to Iconic Motorcycles in the USA. So perhaps keep an eye out for its arrival. Hopefully it'll go to a good home. I've never been Florida. I'm not one for traveling these days. Take care fella. Things I feel are going to get mad shortly. It's another reason why I've decided sell a few.

@@colinmaddocks9352 The things that have been revealed in this age of revelation is shocking to say the least. Easter Island statues really did walk their way to where they stand, which is interesting how that was done by rocking the statue using ropes. The pyramids were built with canals using locks and a drainage system to lift large stones, similar to how ships are lifted in the Panama Canal, as well as ropes slung over the object with a larger lifting stone that sinks sitting on a barge if the pool is drained. Ect ect ect. Anyhow... I will look it up so thanks for the info, sure is a blast from the past that I rarely see un-touched or abused. I also was hoping to find 2000 Aprilia RSV Mille, similar to one I sold back in 2004, that I miss more than anything. And for whatever reason Aprilia no longer makes that gorgeous brushed aluminum frame that I'm sure had some sort of clear coat coating, It was just beautiful in thar year.

That is an almost mint 1100. Congrats on your work to restore it. Love the dark grey. Mine has been repainted to silver grey and has a 4-1 Hindle exhaust. I am curious about the origin of that rear mount rack and extra grab rail. is it for a Bandit piece?

Looks clean..& rare to see in this colour scheme. The blue anodised forks made quite the statement when it came out. Very nice GSXR 👍🏼

Hi, Yes rather rare in this colour aren't they. There is one however on market place at the moment. Not in this condition mind you. I had NOS rear fairing panels and an NOS end can so I decided to put them on prior to its MOT ... not that there was much wrong with them that were on it. It's been SORN for 4 years. I've decided to sell it but I'm going to enjoy riding it until it sells. "Oh the vanity of it all".
