Dunno. In my experience Snyder is *trashed* compared to Q BLM sites. Also check the BLM maps. A good chunk on that side of the road is actually private land.

You're right!!! I was thinking about it until I look further into it and found they wanted the 'donation' PLUS purchase something from their facility. Everybody wants to lie. No one is trustworthy. I'm currently on a friends land because it's almost impossible to boondock anymore without spending money. Scams galore!!

I had a sneaking suspicion that the "suggestion" of spending $30 (minimum) at every host wasn't actually a suggestion. Buried in the FAQ is a note saying that there's no incentive for hosts to stay in the program unless you make purchases. That seems more like a requirement. Thanks for sharing the experience. Glad I didn't sign up.
