need to work it out so people don't have to use bar chords. Can't even get my fingers to make the first shape and not interfere with the other string. This is why people give up.

I had this issue: I create my chord charts but only on Iphone look the same (chords over) if I email my band the charts the chord sequence change many times on a song, I don't know how to fix this problem I want they to be the same on phone or desktop, email etc. Maybe you can help me. Thanks God bless

If it's pretty acute and generally caused by sinus pressure/allergies, I would definitely suggest doing all the supplemental stuff...consistent meds, steaming, doing the techniques multiple times a day. I also some Vicks VapoRub under my nose while steaming. Every little bit seems to help.

Hi!!! Thanks for this great and helpful video!! Do you have suggestions for when a chord is played before singing the first word in a verse or chorus? I guess with regard to spacing? Do you space out the beginning of the affected lyrics? Hopefully my question makes sense lol.
@jwithrowmusic3 ай бұрын
Great question! If I'm creating the chart in Planning Center as the master chart for our graphics team also to use, then I won't put any spaces before a word, since I don't want our display software, when it imports from Planning Center, to put spaces at the beginning of a lyrics line. But if it's my personal chart, or a chart just for the band, then I'll put spaces between the bracket chord and the first word of a line to help me remember that a chord is played before the first word is sung. I might even put a lot of extra space between words, if there's multiple chord changes between the singing of two different words.
@joynishii36833 ай бұрын
@@jwithrowmusicAhh that makes sense!! Yeah our church has had Planning Center for years but unfortunately haven’t utilized it to the fullest!! I am just learning about it being able to transpose!!!!! So slowly but surely I’m working on learning more, as well as trying to update the chord charts. Love your setup with standardizing everything.

Took some notes! Very very well explained Video, Thank you so much for the teachings and sharing!! LOVE the visual effect of the red chords, but, juste a little friendly reminder that sometimes if the stage lights are the same colour, and shine of the chart, they can become really hard to see D: hahah learned this the hard way. Peace and Love!

I used to wonder how they make these acoustic guitars sound so nice and rich. Thank you for naming them (strumming effects and numbering system and the 7ths etc) as you go about explaining this beautifully. When you can name it, you rememeber it and you reuse it. And that is awesome guru!

What do you think about writing VERSE 1, CHORUS, BRIDGE etc. in the left margin (maybe like V1, Ch, Br to save space)?
@jwithrowmusic6 ай бұрын
Nowadays I use the format V1 or V2 for all my verses. I still like bolded, all CAPS for section headings as it's easier to see for me.
