Lyrics: Take my lips and sew them shut Without words I'd dry up and blow away She said that we were both so out of touch And when we talked we say things That don't mean anything I hear your voice but you're so far away I can do without these things What I can't do Is live here without you Live here without you Live here without I can't kiss you anymore I can't miss you anymore Love's not easy to ignore When your heart lies bleeding on the floor I just sit and count the days The days until you'll be mine I'll take in air and I'll fill up Never breathing out I'll burst in flames Without you I can never get enough Of the thing that makes me feel like Life's worth anything I feel your touch at the thought of your name I can do without these things What I can't do Is live here without you Live here without you Live here without I can't kiss you anymore I can't miss you anymore Love's not easy to ignore When your heart lies bleeding on the floor I just sit and count the days The days until you will be mine I don't want for anything Like a Jesus or a Superman I don't want for anything If you could be here with me again I can do without these things What I can't do Is live here without you Live here without you Live here without I can't kiss you anymore I can't miss you anymore Love's not easy to ignore When your heart lies bleeding on the floor I just sit and count the days The days until you will be mine I can't kiss you anymore I never felt alone like this before Love's not easy to ignore I just can't live here anymore Time is killing me and I'm killing Nothing but time

HERE IN 2024 BECAUSE I AM OLD
@mattrech05 ай бұрын
This song would re-enter my mind every once in awhile and I finally tracked it down. I am fucking old too, I know. I also know there's very little money to be made in music for bands anymore, so I hope the band members, wherever at whatever job they have now, know that they still bring a lot of joy to some people every once in awhile.

This is one of the best and underrated straight rock albums of the 90s. It’s their masterpiece in my opinion.

First time I heard it was on a surf film. It's like if this song was made specifically for that movie due to how insanely it matches with surfing footage.

I found this song by the grace of luck when I was 15 maybe and just the other day I was so stumped because I totally forgot the song and the name of this band but I had the melody stuck in my head ... I took a shower last night and suddenly it was like magic their name just came to me and what do you know ... here I am so thankful I am able to come back to this and have a listen in 2022 , as an adult and mother aged 23 , 8 years later ❤️🔥

This is their best song by far, why isn't there? Probably a quite expensive single to add and they doesn't think it's worth it. Idiots.

I want it to be alright. I think you know it's not a crime. Now we're here what do you feel? Across the room, passing you. I see your eyes all wet. Now you're here what do you miss? There's nothing I can do to make it all just go away. There's nothing I can say to make it all just go away. So it falls apart, it falls apart. Just like you wanted it to fall apart. It falls apart, it falls apart. Young love. Lasted for hours. Couldn't become what we hoped for. I want it to be alright. Can't you see that's all I want. You only laugh about it all. Did you find someone worth, all of the hours and all of the work. I think I know how you get by. There's nothing I can do to make it all just go away. There's nothing I can say to make it all just go away. So it falls apart, it falls apart. Just like you wanted it to fall apart. It falls apart, it falls apart. Young love. Lasted for hours. Couldn't become what we hoped for. That's how we fell. In the night before the funeral. That's how we fell. In the night before the funeral.

I just looked them up after hearing this song on Sirius years ago. The song just popped into my head but I couldn’t remember the band’s name, other than the word hair is in it. Then I remembered the song’s name and, well…here I am! I still really like it too. 😊

I don't even wonder if they're gonna put me under Cause you're here now and I'm on fire Got no recollection of his holy words' infection Throwing sparks now 'cause I'm on fire I come down again take you in again There's nothing to regret now Breathe you in like a cigarette Now dream Every time you fix me when the fascination hits me And I'm tripping around your head One more resurrection after living that rejection Didn't kill me, because I'm dead

Think I figured out some of the lyrics. Please pitch in to correct anything. I was thinking, yeah I was thinking that this is more than ever I was told, yeah I was told that this is about together I was thinking, yeah I was thinking that we were born to shout I was told, yeah I was told that it'd get that much better Never say love, you don't talk with feelings, we cry Now, what is to feel like Trying to listen, she not being abused I give you work to ever I believe, yeah I was seen, nothing sharp and clever We all love her I expect yeah I expect, how it's supposed to sound I'm impressed, yeah I'm impressed with now it's far from over Never say love, you don't talk with feelings, we cry Now, what is to feel like Not so bad, inside Not so bad, inside We love her Trying to go Trying to go, let me know, resolution Trying to flow Trying to flow, we don't know, resolution I suppose, I suppose being the jerks who never, never I suppose, I suppose that this time we all slept outside You don't know me Oh no shame And you know where I'm going Of my best friend Say, how, is now over Say, how, is now over (Can't figure out the ending which I think is the best part)
